It’s been a year since I found out I have lupus, and it’s been the hardest year of my life. My body hurts all the time, and I’m so angry about everything lupus has taken from me. I didn’t do anything to deserve this, and it just feels so unfair. I hate how fast it changed my life. But I wouldn’t have made it through this year without my family and friends by my side, reminding me that I’m strong and never alone.

Lupus hurt me and took a lot from me, but it didn’t win. It will never take my fight. I survived the hardest year of my life, and I’ll never stop fighting, no matter how hard it gets.💜💜💜 #lupuswarrior #LupusSucks by @skylarshirek
