about september 21st:

its an ambient piece. plenty of mellotron strings and fender rhodes. its forgettable, its haunting. its music for an introspective walk through the local park. its music for smoking a sad cigarette on a lonely night.

i can't remember what prompted me making it. i'm sure i must've been inspired by something... but i do know i made it on september 21st of 2025.

its out everywhere right now. relieve some stress, put it on and meditate a little. its fun!

and a very kind thank you to @_pigmentandpaper for finding the prettiest colours to suit my music, yet again <3

cheers! by @skymovesidewaysofficial

about telescopes and such:

telescopes and such is part of a series of songs made in december of last year, exploring some core elements from shoegaze music in an electronic environment. most notably it features a fat lead synth sound that rhythmically detunes, to simulate shoegaze's whammy-strumming. the vocal parts are entirely unintelligible, but undeniably present and spacy, something that is quite difficult to get right.
most of the sounds are harmonic sounds are textural, while the drums are steadily banging on, keeping that groove tight.

i love the hypnotic dance feel, the exaggerated psychedelic experience and the overall rich, warm, slightly dark sound. so please give a listen, you might like it too!

thanks to @_pigmentandpaper for letting me use her beautiful painting for the artwork :) by @skymovesidewaysofficial

whats up guys,

tonight "i love you casio" is released. its an odd, crispily saturated little song kinda reminiscent of the good ol' i found something today era.

the main instrument used is the casio cz-101, providing the lead, rhythm, bass and a bunch of other little sounds and spices. it's a cool little bug.

also the pop-formula is crudely broken by the two more atmospheric intermezzos... fun stuff

its a little bit of something else, a little bit of whats familiar

im trying to get back into the habit of releasing songs, so hopefully this is first of a new bunch of material. tomorrow i will be posting an accompanying mv aswell

cheers folks

hi all

just for fun, and to celebrate 2 years since its first release, not there has been remastered and now the drums punch, the synths are brighter and many other neat tweaks to bring out the best of this instant classic

its on spotify, have a listen, maybe even compare it with the original, and hear the difference firsthand
