In the early days of the pandemic @brianreddy and I conjured up a film idea based on queer intolerance in many religious groups and some surreal sketches of Brian’s. Over the next couple of months we raised an incredibly small budget and put together a small team to actually make something. I made the surreal creatures in the film before attending makeup school only following online tutorials and the sketches from Brian in only about 2 weeks. There’s so many things I wish I could change about them, but I’m still so incredibly happy with how they turned out. @thechapelinthecloset is currently making its way through the festival circuit and I can’t wait to fully share it with you all. 🖤 by @skyoppelfx

Thank you so much @skyoppel for bringing this concept to life, I literally couldn’t have done this without you and your insane sfx skills !! I’m so happy we finally got to collab after talking about it for so long!! You literally had me feeling like a work of art all night, thank you for making me look so awesome! You are such an incredible artist and you inspire me so much!
Can someone explain the psychology of why I felt so goddamn sexy in this look?
