it’s been good!! by @skyrar
Third and final chapter of our Alaska series is out! I’d say this one’s a love letter to the Milo and our time spent drifting through the ocean searching for waves. To my crew! What a trip. What a team. Maybe my all time fav. @blairconklin thanks for putting all the pieces into place. Can’t wait for the reunion ❤️ Endless thanks to @zackhoag & @fayroyboys, collaborating with you has been by far the most rewarding part of this project for me. @elliotmacguire thank you for snapping these photos of me (and my boots) and for the eyes in the sky. You leveled up these videos in a big way 🚁 And thanks to everyone out there for watching! We couldn’t do it without you 🤠 by @skyrar

Chapter 2 of our Alaska trip is up! A full day spent waiting for glaciers to calve into the water and hoping for a surfable wave to form. You can check it out on Blair’s youtube channel. Thanks to @zackhoag for creating such incredible music for this episode, you perfectly captured the surreal, dreamy feeling of being in such a strange place with all your friends 🙂✨ 🚁: @elliotmacguire 🏄🏼‍♂️: @blairconklin @casey_willax @johnnywebergrills @brunabz ⛴️: @mikemcfish @kbaysailor @homieluvr805 🎸: @fayroyboys @zackhoag by @skyrar
The first episode of our Alaska series is live on @blairconklin‘s YouTube! Thank you to @fayroyboys for creating such an incredible soundtrack for this video, thank you to the @milosurfboat crew for putting us in the right place at the right time, and thank you to our team for nonstop laughs despite days and days of bad weather. This was a really fun one to put together. Hope you enjoy it 🙂 🚁 @elliotmacguire 🎸 @fayroyboys @zackhoag ⛴️ @mikemcfish @kbaysailor @homieluvr805 🏄🏼‍♂️ @blairconklin @johnnywebergrills @casey_willax @brunabz by @skyrar
Milo! What can I say. Thank you to our little team for an incredible 8 days navigating a remote stretch of the Alaskan coastline. The enormous weight of gratitude I feel is overwhelming. Not to get bogged down in the sap of it all, but I love this crew and I love the time I’ve spent on this boat. It’s hard to describe, but there’s something about being aboard the Milo that makes you perceive the world differently. Time moves glacially and at the speed of light all at once. Nearly every moment is spent watching the world pass you by from a window covered in sea mist, laughing with your crew, or on a cold, desolate beach completely isolated from the rest of the world. Bonds are forged, deepened, and tested, and when it’s all said and done, you come out on the other side as a family. Rough seas, rainy days, and 38° water is a non issue when you’re surrounded by such a great group of people. I wouldn’t trade this experience or those involved for anything. Looking forward to sharing a small slice of our adventure with you soon, but for now here are a few moments from along the way 🙂 And to @mikemcfish - thanks for making it all a reality. Without you, none of this exists. by @skyrar

First and last light at Land’s End 🏜️🙂 by @skyrar
A couple weeks ago, I was asked to edit a tribute video celebrating @lucasfink‘s fifth world title. Lucas has put so much into skimboarding, and I wanted to find a way to convey those years of dedication as well as the emotion tied to each win. This is what I came up with. This goes out not only to Lucas and his multiple well earned UST titles, but also to all the announcers who give up entire weekends making sure the beach stays electric; you are the ultimate purveyors of emotion and excitement. @sayhellototheworm @skimdogmillionaire and @supermahon949 , thank you for taking the time to fill in the gaps and record some sound bites for me, it made all the difference. And yes, for everyone wondering, I did use a song from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; Mutant Mayhem soundtrack as the background music. Thanks for tuning in and thanks to all the filmers who provided footage for this video. support skim movie making ! ❤️‍🔥 by @skyrar
The Vic is always one of my favorite weekends of the year. It’s an annual reunion of old and new friends from every corner of the world, brought together by a shared love of skimboarding. Our little sport is a pretty special thing. Thank you Tex and thank you to everyone who let me point a camera at you. Hope you enjoy the video! by @skyrar
Ten years down the line! Thanks to everyone who has put a suitcase in an overhead bin or carried a camera case for me. What a ride! Happy with how it all ended up 🙂 and to my surgeons down in nicaragua, I owe it all to you. ok off to find an advil! by @skyrar
