We made a video last winter documenting 5 days living in the XL during an atmospheric river in Oregon. Our materials are extremely waterproof, and with the rainfly closed everything overlaps and underlaps for a full seal.

A beautiful thing about sleeping under the stars is how much your eyes can adjust when you're comfortable, warm, laying down, and looking up. And waking up to roll over at 3am when you haven't looked at any lights for hours? Crazy.

⛺️Beach backpacking with @skyviewtents ⛺️

Sky view’s single person backpacking tent was the perfect thing to bring on this trip. I didn’t have a good chance to stargaze due to heavy fog on the coast, but having the open air and the smell of the ocean in the morning and nights was pretty unbeatable.

There’s nothing like camping in a dark canyon, on the new moon, with #skyviewtents

It rained for 3 hours before the stars came out, the sky opened up from 1am - 3am , and then rained again before sunrise. I know because it woke me up lol, but fortunately I was able to sit up and close the fly in seconds.

These are some of my favorite finds from @outdoorretailer - not everything is “overland” specific, but I think you’ll like them…

The @packlikeawolf gear hauler is massive, but has great interior organization and comes with two packing cubes with clear covers and breathable mesh side panels. Rolly wheels make it easy to load and stow, too.

The @liss.livinginsunshine hammock sets up in seconds and packs back down almost as fast, making it easy to get to the relaxing quickly.

Friends have raved about the @nonormalco instant coffee paste, so I’ll be leaving the powder home for my next trip.

I have neither the budget nor the space for a proper hot tub, but the inflatable M Spa model is under $800 and heats up to 104°, then deflates when you don’t need it.

I was at the show as part of the @popflyco Wild Reach creator crowd, which meant cool swag and great coffee at their booth!

The @skyviewtents are a truly unique take on tents, with a nearly invisible mesh for perfect stargazing, and a rainfly that slides into place from the inside, so you don’t even need to get out of your sleeping bag to open or close it…

Most body wipes come premoistened, which means they can dry out. The @getruggedrevive come dry, just add a little water to make suds that actually wash away the grime and BO, then just air dry or wipe off, no rinsing needed.

The @bougerv portable AC gets an upgrade this fall to be more efficient and colder, but the real trick is that you can reverse the vent to blow warm “exhaust” air into your rig or tent, making it great for cooler weather, too.

Oddly, even some guys like the @sheflyapparel (Gnara) pants and shorts, with their secondary zipper that runs front to back for easier potty breaks, whether you’re male or female. Even better, they’ve got pockets that actually fit a modern smartphone!

The @dryefan blows air into a @camelbak @hydrapak and other hydration reservoirs, letting them fully dry out between rides and runs.
