A message from my Mama @shamormon

"I'm raising this fundraiser for my husband, Jerome Taplin. Jerome had a stroke in April 2024, and he is now bedridden and needs 24/7 care. I resigned from my job of 20 years to stay home and care for him. More recently, I had a work-from-home job, but over the past 3 months I had to bring him back and forth to the ER, leave work early, and call in because of his gastric and PEG tube issues. Because of that, I lost the job and fell behind on our bills.

Right now, the most urgent need is our Entergy bill. Jerome has had aspiration pneumonia twice and was put on oxygen each time. He also uses a nebulizer every day, and both his oxygen-related care and his nebulizer depend on electricity. Keeping the power on is not just about staying current on a bill for us. It directly affects the equipment Jerome depends on at home.

Because this need continues over time, ongoing support would help me keep up with our household bills while I care for Jerome and manage the added costs of his medical supplies. If you are able to give monthly, that steady help would mean so much. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and would help us catch up on the Entergy bill and other overdue bills.

If you can help, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Your support will end the pressure we are facing right now."

Watch over our babies for this new school year. May they accomplish great things and be smart in their decisions and also stay out of trouble. Another chapter begins and we'll get through it till the end. #7thGrader

Words can't express how happy and PROUD I am of my baby. She has worked her ASS off through blood, sweat, and tears(excuse my language) this yr and still is. She inspires others, but most importantly, she inspires ME. She inspires me to be a great mom and to never give up on anything you think you can't achieve. Never force your child to do anything they don't wanna do. Let them find their own way and you'll see how happy they become. Love you Skyy 🩰💕 by @skyymucky
