🔥 New Dead Astronauts Album - OUT NOW! 🔥

Happy Bandcamp Friday, Music Lovers! Our cool Dead Astronauts have their 5th studio album "Shallow Grave" out today! 🖤

Dark, melodic and occasionally abrasive, "Shallow Grave" pulls from darkwave, synthwave and post-punk without settling comfortably into any one of them. Beneath the syrupy drone and distortion, it’s a record about being human in an increasingly strange world - and the uncomfortable realization that none of us in our current state are getting out of it alive. "We all die young, with the light of the sun. We don't think it through, just a thing we do."

It's available on CD, LP in two different colours and in digital format - all formats are in stock. Check it out on Bandcamp! You can also find it on your favourite streaming platforms! 🖤🔥

This was an early concept for the single cover for "Get Lost" but ultimately it didn't fit the vibe exactly the way we wanted.
This character though does make an appearance in the original video.

"Get Lost" is from our upcoming album Shallow Grave (releases in all formats Oct 2nd)
Much love

Shallow Grave new album preorders and new single "Bodies" now live, link in bio:

"Shallow Grave" finds Dead Astronauts digging through the more dimly lit corners of modern life; disconnection, obsession, mortality and the strange ways we try to make sense of ourselves while everything around us feels increasingly unstable and askew.

Moving between the brooding post-punk pulse of “Bodies” and “Get Lost,” the uneasy, shimmer of a love song in “Glistening Things,” and the existential weight of “Shallow Grave” and more pointedly “From Dust,” the album feels in limbo... stuck somewhere between wanting to fade away without a trace and desperately wanting to feel something real, something true. “Stuck (In a Modern Day Cult)” and “Who Kills Who” turn that sightline outward, adding a more confrontational edge to a record otherwise haunted by isolation and self-reflection.

Dark, melodic and occasionally abrasive, Shallow Grave pulls from darkwave, synthwave and post-punk without settling comfortably into any one of them. Beneath the syrupy drone and distortion, it’s a record about being human in an increasingly strange world—and the uncomfortable realization that none of us in our current state are getting out of it alive. "We all die young, with the light of the sun. We don't think it through, just a thing we do."

Shallow Grave will be available on vinyl, CD, digital download, and streaming Oct 2nd via Cold Transmission Music.

Huge thanks to @madeira_wine_ch for this amazing 1898 Boal (Solera) - (bottled in 1973) from @henriquesehenriquesmadeira - it’s now my oldest ‘labelled’ in the collection next to the 1920 Boal from @blandysmadeirawine - but with one big difference!
What is solera method?
Unlike a single-vintage Madeira, 1898 marks the original wine that formed the foundation of this historic solera. Under Madeira’s traditional Solera system, up to 10% of the wine could be drawn from the cask and bottled, with the cask then replenished with wine of the same quality. This could be repeated up to ten times before the remaining wine was bottled as Solera.

The method became particularly important in Madeira during the 19th century, when vineyard diseases devastated production and old stocks needed to be carefully extended. (H&H -Henriques e Henriques, S.A)

So this isn’t simply a bottle of “1898 vintage Madeira.” It’s something rather different: a surviving piece of Madeira’s historic Solera tradition, founded on an 1898 Boal and bottled in 1973. It’s a piece of Madeira history in a bottle!

🔥 New Single & Video by Crying Vessel 🔥

Our awesome Crying Vessel have their new single out today - together with a super cool video! 🖤

Floating between darkwave, post-punk, and new wave, "Bound In Mystery" explores the space where dreams, ritual, and fate begin to blur. Built around haunting dual vocal performances from Larry and Slade, the song unfolds through shimmering guitars, atmospheric textures, and a slow-burning sense of tension before opening into an expansive, melodic chorus.

Lyrically, "Bound In Mystery" follows an unseen connection that draws two souls together through the darkness, embracing the unknown rather than resisting it. Themes of transformation, devotion, and surrender weave throughout the song, leaving the story deliberately open to interpretation.

The accompanying cinematic music video expands on these ideas through a folk horror narrative of ritual, pursuit, and inheritance, where the line between hunter and prey gradually disappears. As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that some cycles are destined to repeat, and not every escape is truly an escape. Maybe the darkness that takes hold is just what the captive wants.

"Bound In Mystery" is a haunting journey into the beauty of uncertainty, where some questions are never meant to be fully answered.

Find it on Bandcamp and your favourite streaming platforms!

🔥 New Dead Astronauts Single - Out now! 🔥

Our awesome Dead Astronauts are finally back with a new single! 🖤

"Get Lost" is the first single from their upcoming 5th studio album, "Shallow Grave" - planned for release in autumn this year.

The song balances melancholy and momentum, pairing atmospheric electronic layers with a sense of restless forward motion. It evokes a sensation that sits squarely in the space between nostalgia and escapism; moody, nocturnal, and emotionally distant, yet strangely uplifting.

"Get Lost" is a cinematic darkwave anthem for a forlorn, lovesick populace. 🖤

Enjoy it on Bandcamp and your favourite streaming platforms and get lost in the sound of Dead Astronauts.. Link in bio.
