The Kreat Kollective: Facing your Financial Fears🤍

End of Quarter 2 + the beginning of Quarter 3 and whew… today was one for the books 🤍

Today’s meeting centered around budgeting, financial literacy, and facing our financial fears head on and what we created in that room was so much bigger than money.

We laughed. We cried. We were vulnerable. We held space for each other. We got honest.

And babyyyy, Robin R. Haynes did NOT cut us no slack 😂🤍 She loved on us enough to tell us the truth, challenge us, and push us forward. As a financial strategist and advisor who has worked with organizations like Goldman Sachs, Babson, Morgan State and helped support over 900 businesses, she poured into us in such a powerful way.

Not only did she give us gems and homework (yes homework 😭😂), but she also gifted us all copies of her book and I cannot wait to dive in.

Today reminded me that what we’re building is so much deeper than beauty. This is community. This is collaboration. This is creatives choosing growth, accountability, and refusing to stay stuck.

What started as Salon Kreat a passion project, created with community, purpose and with a very small budget and a whole lot of faith was literally built by my own hands. Blood, sweat, tears, late nights, hard lessons, and YEARS of showing up when it wasn’t easy.

This journey hasn’t been perfect but it’s been real. And now I’m finally ready to share it.
