Thank you 🖤
First edition of SLAP was a real blast.
You people brought the finest vibes, survived the hottest heat 🥵, and danced like crazy to the amazing lives of @sorcery_music and @tempo.runde and the dj set from @gioskimusic .
All of this while admiring the art of @juliamariataras with curiosity and wonder ✨

You were all so in the mood, we had to keep on partying with one extra groovy set from @sokka1n and closing it up with a surprise B2B between Sorcery and Gioski 🔥

We couldn’t wish for a better kickoff and stay tuned for the next one!

A big thanks also goes to the poweful crews of @gummizelle_klup and @elysia_basel who made everything possible ❤️

Until next episode 👋

Lately, I’ve spent a lot of time in the Jura with my camera and macro lens, diving into a small and often overlooked world.

Lichens are among the most fascinating organisms on Earth. A symbiosis between fungi and algae.
They were possibly the first living organisms to inhabit the Earth outside the water. Extremely resilient and found almost everywhere, lichens have shaped this planet in remarkable ways. It is a lichens world. Come by to hang out, learn more about them, and discover how beautiful they are.

Over the last few days, we’ve transformed Club Elysia into an exhibition space, where live music and conceptual art find synergy.

Btw there will be healthy drinks, free fresh fruits, a pool, an outdoor shower and air conditioning ❤️

AT SLAP - JULIA MARIA TARAS

Julia Maria Taras is an artist and photographer whose visual storytelling documents and interprets the world around her. Her work explores themes of nature in transformation, interspecies responsibility, and the symbiotic relationships between living beings. Drawing on a wide range of media, from graphite, watercolor, and acrylic to photography and video, she creates works that invite new ways of seeing and relating to nature.

In the exhibition «Situationship with Lichen», the artist captures small, often overlooked organisms through photography and presents them on an enlarged scale. She depicts moss and its symbionts as we encounter them every day, yet which largely go unnoticed in our daily lives.

LIVE AT SLAP - RUNDE

Runde is an artist dedicated to exploring the many pathways into the hypnotic realm of techno. Driven by a desire to create immersive and meaningful experiences, he founded Temporunde - a multidisciplinary project where music, live performance, and visual art converge to form a distinctive artistic signature.

In a world that constantly accelerates, Runde invites his audience to slow down, embrace the moment, and become part of a story unfolding through sound, movement, and atmosphere. Through deep, captivating sonic journeys, he crafts spaces where time feels suspended and connection takes center stage.

LIVE AT SLAP - SORCERY

Montreal-born and Berlin-based, SORCERY is the sonic alias of multidisciplinary artist Merlin Ettore. Rooted in a background as a professional drummer & percussionist, SORCERY distills years of rhythmic research and practice into a techno live set that feels alive - elastic, tactile, and unapologetically forward-thinking. This is machine music with a pulse, where hypnotic modular grooves dance with jagged, shape-shifting textures, and sharp sound design carves through layers of raw energy.
Described as « a mutant sonic universe, » SORCERY transforms dance music into something primal yet refined. Intricate rhythms snake their way through analog drum machines, while modular synthesizers and sound processing create a tightly woven tapestry of tension and release. The result is a performance that thrives on unpredictability, always teetering between controlled chaos and visceral flow.
In the studio, SORCERY pushes sonic boundaries with the same meticulous precision as on stage, crafting tracks that pair bold sound design with emotive depth. Each production is an exploration of rhythm, space, and texture, resulting in music that feels equally at home on the dancefloor and in more introspectiv listening environments. Releases on pioneering labels such as Bedouin Records, ARA, 47, Void+1, and Midnight Shift showcase SORCERY’s ability to bridge the gap between functional club tracks and forward-thinking experimentalism.
SORCERY’s live sets have become a mainstay in Berlin’s Berghain and Tresor, captivating audiences with exclusively live performances.
