What Remains Of Light - A study of light, time, and the traces left behind. Opening night December 4th, 2026 at The Find Lab Analog Community Center in Provo UT. On display will be a portrait from this 20x24 session with @vivianelaine__ as well as many other of my photographs. The process of taking a 20x24 portrait requires a lot of setup, the part you see here - actually taking the photo - is very quick! Lens cap off, filters, pop the strobe, lens cap back on. Deceptively simple. I hope to see you at my show! #whatremainsoflight #veneziaphotography #slcdarkroom #thefindlab by @slc.darkroom
Spinning fire and dusk over the highway. Perfect first test for the Arri. Damn this footage is gorgeous and I'm so happy that the camera works as it should. Thank you @juliabean.jj, @dre.the.sunflower, & @kirras35mmcamera for being awesome! Arriflex 35ii, Schneider 28mm f/2, @kodak_shootfilm Vision 3 500T 4perf. Dev/Scan by Negative Space. #arriflex35 #arriflex #motionpicture #kodak #500t by @slc.darkroom
Some still frames from the first test roll of 500T on the Arriflex 35ii. I am beyond elated to know that the camera functions properly! The look that the Schneider 28mm T/2 lens gives is just perfect. It has the right amount of haze and that classic swirly bokeh that I love. Very sharp wide open when I got the focus right. Ill be sharing some of the footage here soon, for now, enjoy these still frames. #arriflex35 #arriflex #motionpicture #500t #sohappy by @slc.darkroom
