What is “The Experimental Uniform Program”?

It’s an ongoing R&D project that explores how far you can push technical apparel manufacturing, combined with heritage quality and durability. This project aims to prove that it’s still possible to make high end technical goods by hand, without cutting corners. Each iteration of the Experimental Uniform Program will be updated based on user feedback.

Take the new Experimental Uniform Program T-Shirts for example. They’re a 230 GSM cotton jersey that’s grown, spun, dyed, knit, cut, and sewn in Canada. They have a taped shoulder seam, and a double stitched collar, which makes them comfortable, but also means that the neck will never sag out over time.

We explored dozens of different manufacturers to make our shirts and hoodies, but this was the only one that could meet our quality standards.

Wear the Experimental Uniform Shirt on a bike ride, a run, or a trip to the grocery store. This latest release of shirts and hoodies is only the beginning. Stay tuned for much, much more in the coming months.

Lite Leashes have been updated with new hardware, and this new lilac color (in addition to the OG colors). The new hardware is slightly more minimal and more aesthetically pleasing, while being tested to an even higher load rating than before.

The CHASM Roll-Up. I set out to design my perfect toiletry/art/tool kit that could expand as needed. It features one waterproof pocket made from @xpac_fabrics UX10 for soap, toothpaste, etc, and two mesh pockets. The bungee closure keeps things secure regardless of how full or empty it is. It also has a hang loop, for easy access to whatever you have inside.

The late summer drop is live. Fresh colorways with some new @xpac_fabrics, updated hardware, new hoodies and tees, and a new product called the “CHASM Roll-up”. It’s a small, but might drop, and represents a lot of refinement across the product line.

I’ll explain the tweaks in greater detail over the next week.
