thank you for reading Season 2 of Hand Jumper :)

It was really tiring, but still a blast to draw. I hope to make Season 3 even better.

🌀Happy 100th chapter of Hand Jumper!

When I began the series, I worried that people would drop it when Sayeon was revealed to be a not-stellar human being who only gets worse as she accumulates power. fortunately, you guys are freaks

The last picture was made by the fan community! Thank you to everyone who participated-- I read every message you wrote. And special thanks to the mods who organized this :') It was such a lovely surprise to wake up to

In the summer of 1995, two girls form Korea's most inept garage band...

Sayeon plays bass very poorly (she's got zero groove). Ryujin is a genius keyboardist, but skips every other practice. Min is a decent drummer. Iseul sings. Individually, they may sound mediocre, but all together, they sound.................. even worse

Today is the fourth* anniversary of Hand Jumper's launch. In memory of that, here's a repaint of art I made for HJ's debut back in 2022.

I wish I could celebrate. I live in America right now, and the atrocities being committed (and sanctioned at the highest levels) by this country make it nearly impossible to focus on anything else. I can't put into words how angry I am. Reject the deceitful narratives pushed by those in power. Question, confront, resist. Do not bow to fascism.

Happy 2026.

Cassandra Salo, the Black Thorn. Sadistic rival of Rhione, my other female knight.

Cassandra's great-great-grandfather was legendary for his unusual height. At seven feet tall, there wasn't a suit of armor in all the kingdom that could fit him-- so he had one custom-made from a sinister black metal. After his (violent) death, the ominous armor hung in the manor for generations, too large and too gracile to fit any knight... until Cassandra came along.
-------

Of all the armor I designed for this project, Cassandra's is the least realistic. She comes from the wealthiest noble house, so she gets to wear the Louis Vuitton of armor. Meanwhile, Rhione's armor came already banged up from seven or so wars. by @sleepacross

For school, I designed + illustrated a story about two female knights-- Rhione and Cassandra-- and their quest to slay a godling at the edge of the kingdom. Rhione is strong and heroic, but massively lacking in common sense. Here, she's asking a school of man-eating mermaids for directions. The mermaids are so amused that they actually give them to her.

Cassandra comes across the same mermaids later on... and grinds them into fish paste :(

late, but. I graduated... WITH HONORS! B)

College ruled. I made some of my best friends and memories these past few years. But they were also some of the hardest times of my life-- I don't know how I managed to balance my work for Webtoon with school, and I'm not sure if I succeeded more than I failed. But hey, you live and learn!

To everyone who read and supported Hand Jumper along the way: You are why I could afford groceries and bus fare and paintbrushes and toilet paper. I'll never, ever understand what I did to deserve such incredible readers. Thank you :)
