We’re a little late to the table with this one, @mr_daaave released this book ‘Woo!’ earlier in the year and it’s an absolute honour to be included! A memoir of strange tales recalled from the debaucherous nights spent at @windmillbrixton
All proceeds go to the pub.
We will be returning to the stage there this coming Monday!
Get your tickets via the link in our bio.

Sadly it won’t be the same line up as before but we’re pumped to exhibit the new band and material.

We're concerned that the very essence of our musical existence is on a knife edge and is very quickly tipping into a desolate place.
We're concerned that with so many fires being put out everywhere across the country, the livelihoods and careers of hundreds of thousands could be just ignored and left to burn.
We're concerned that as an industry, our government doesn't seem to care to bail us out for 1% of what we bring in. We're concerned that the future generations of these islands will have little else but an blue white and red painted plane to represent us in the world. What has this country come to when it is blatantly ignoring the history of music and arts which has forged us as a cultural powerhouse?
Where will our children's musical talents be nurtured if there are no more small venues to allow them to do so?
5.2 billion pounds we bring you. 5.2 BILLION! And 50 million is too much to save our industrious cultural communities?

The @windmillbrixton is special to a lot of people, the community in which it sits; the sports fans; the regulars; the owners (!) but especially to the musicians who have swept that sticky golden stage with their songs and their sweat for decades.
It is a church for music, a Mecca, of sorts. It has a presence like no other venue has and you really feel it when you enter.
It is a great social anchor for the community, for both the musicians and the music lovers.
It is a platform that nurtures bands at all stages of their careers and we played our first ever shows there.
Hats off to Tim Perry, the promoter, for keeping it real and giving a lot of bands a chance to express themselves.
The sound is always excellent whenever we’re there to see bands and the sound is always excellent when we play.
That can go on record.
In many ways it is more than a venue. It is a place to remember those who are not with us anymore, who drank and played there when they still were.
It is a place of celebration as well as our annual Christmas bash we hold.
In simpler terms, it’s like a Youth Club for reprobates! Except the orange squash is Guinness and the biscuits are burgers from Seamus' BBQ.
It would be a tragedy, catastrophic, even, if the Windmill were to close its doors for good. It is a piece of history and it is imperative that it stays open for years to come & serve generations to follow.
Let’s pull together and save this place which is, for some, an iconic venue, for others, a house of religious magnitude, and for many, many others, just a place they can truly feel at home.
Whatever you can spare if you can spare it, support the windmill through these times so we can all meet again there when this is over.

Our new single ‘In This Town’ is out today thanks to @pnkslm recordings.
We’ve had this song in the barrel for a while now, it seemed appropriate to release it during this time of lingering uncertainty.
So fire it up and crank the volume!
