Drawing on real paper today. It's bit of a challenge because my near and far sight have not been on friendly terms lately. Need to update my prescription. by @sleepyheadimages

Vampires you find walking in the sun of Sandreach are by far not the worst encounter you can have (although that is not always guaranteed). They have long since given up the drinking of blood. The heavy suits of armor that shield them from the sun also convert the sun's energy into a form vampires can metabolize directly. The technique was discovered and developed after the Cataclysm due to the scarcity of people left in the world and lives it were not to be wasted. There is a debate whether vampires truly existed before the Cataclysm but it a moot point to most. Vampires are able to traverse the length and breadth of Sandreach on foot without tiring and many of them do for reasons not entirely understood. The common wisdom is to leave vanpires well enough alone and not stir up trouble. They have however on several occasions been lifesavers to troubled travelers. Often they have been known to carry a satchel of supplies that are of no use to them which can only be intended for the use of living people and there are few who know Sandreach as well as they. To some they are known as rangers. by @sleepyheadimages
