Are you our next social media coordinator?

We’re looking for a chronically online digital native who lives and breathes social media, spends more time on Instagram than they know they should, and knows what’s trending on Reels and TikTok on any given day.

YOU’LL BE:
~ Tapped into what’s driving conversation, what people are interacting with, and what technology they’re using to stay connected
~ A pro at ideating content ideas for social
~ Have the organisational skills necessary to plan, manage, and organise content
~ Be confident behind the camera
~ Have strong editing skills and high competence using Premiere Pro as well as native editing apps
~ A self-starter who’s comfortable pulling data, analysing content performance, and using those insights to iterate and improve output

TACSI (The Australian Centre for Social Innovation @oz_innovation) has just launched their new website and it's been a genuine privilege bringing it to life alongside them.

This wasn't a simple refresh. It was a full migration: taking 16 years of TACSI's story, work and impact and rebuilding it into a new design system on a new platform, without losing what makes them, them. Our role @stickbird.studio was leading the visual design and design system. Shaping the look, feel and structure that TACSI's new site is built on. That kind of project only works with real trust and real collaboration and we had both, in spades.

Huge thanks to the whole team behind this: TACSI, for being open, generous collaborators from day one and trusting us all with something this important to them. @slice.agency, for the thoughtful information architecture and copywriting that shaped how TACSI's story comes across. And Jordan Graetz, for the development work that brought it all together and life so seamlessly.

TACSI does extraordinary work. Tackling some of Australia's toughest social challenges with imagination, care and a deep commitment to community-led change. Getting to build a digital home that reflects that felt like a genuine honour.

We were honoured to be treated to lunch at @sofia.bistro by our wonderful Friends of the Heysen Trail clients, Barbara and Rosie.

Working on the redevelopment of their website kept us on our toes, with an extensive Information Architecture, lots of passionate subject matter experts, and realms of pages to write (and optimise for search).

Shout out to Ellen Beames from Morrow Design for making the site a literal work of art, and Jordan Graetz from Studio Foster for making the whole thing work.

The Slice team included Lizzie @lizlizbeth (account management), Vanessa @vanessaekeys (IA and editing), Graham @totes_mcstoked (SEO) and Kirsty @ok_vandy (copywriting and project management).
