We just got an email that we have been nominated for Georgia's Best—in the bakery category🥹🎉

This means so much, truly. When we started back in January of 2025, our mission was clear—to provide the community with the highest quality sourdough, and to help people take charge of their health.

Over the last year and a half, this business has scaled quickly, but our mission has remained the same throughout it all.

During our time in business, we have made many shifts. In 2025, we went plastic-free AND aluminum-free. Most bakers use both, especially since it cheaper to do, but we really wanted to hone in on being a full-blown health focused baker, so we knew they had to go✌️

We then invested in all stainless steel pans, bowls, etc. Shortly after, we made the commitment to incorporating organic, freshly milled flour into each and every loaf. We invested in a high-quality grain mill, and began sourcing organic grains to bring to the bakery. This began our journey of not only providing the cleanest sourdough, but also the most nutritious. It is now 2026, and we are continuing to do the same—paving the way for truly healthy bread.

We are so grateful that we can continue to serve our community. Every kind review, every sweet word, every encounter keeps our crew motivated and ready to do it all over again each week.

We couldn't do it without you, so THANK YOU🤍

You can now vote for us DAILY. We have attached the voting link in our bio, as well as the comments! by @sliceofheavenbreadco

Look, we know you can't beat fresh-out-of-the-oven bread, BUT we always encourage you to buy a loaf + freeze a loaf😉

Here's why:

When you freeze your sourdough, the starches in it go through a process called "retrogradation." This process causes the starch to turn into resistant starch—which acts more like fiber in the body!

That means steadier energy release in the body and lower blood sugar spikes! That, in combination with the slow fermentation process really make it a winner for those with sensitivities🤍

And to take it a step further, we also use freshly milled flour in our sourdough, which packs in MORE nutrients and makes it a lot safer for those who are gluten sensitive. We can't tell you how many of our customers rave about how good they feel after consuming our sourdough, as opposed to other options. THAT is why we take all of the extra steps. It's not just about "less ingredients," but about making a real difference in the health of our local community! by @sliceofheavenbreadco

We told you all that fresh-milled flour would make its appearance soon, and the time has come🎉

Starting today, all of our items will be made with organic, freshly milled flour! We have always used the highest quality organic ingredients, but even with organic flour, the nutrients are stripped away...so what did we do?

We went out on a limb, sourced the BEST organic grains, searched HARD for a quality grain mill, and got to work!

We are so excited to pioneer the way for healthier bread and to serve you not only the most delicious bread but also the most nutritious🍞

Not only that, our fall menu dropped today! We are excited for this month and can't wait for you to try out all of the new items🤍

Here's how to get your hands on some:

Real bread, done right. It's a slow process that requires a lot of time and patience, but the end result always amazes.

So grateful to be able to provide the community with one-of-a-kind, organic sourdough.
▪︎ Packed with nutrients from our freshly milled flour.
▪︎ Easier to digest thanks to our high quality ingredients and extended fermentation time.
▪︎ All baked in a kitchen free of aluminum and plastic.

These swaps really make a difference in the quality of the products, and the health of the community🤍

Don't forget, today and tomorrow are the last day to vote for Slice of Heaven as GA's Best Bakery! Click the link in our bio for quick access! by @sliceofheavenbreadco

Fresh bread has never put anyone in a bad mood🤪 and with the rainy weather on the way, it will be a great addition to dinner—Soup and toast, or perhaps a grilled cheese? YUM. by @sliceofheavenbreadco

A must-have in your family's weekly staples!

Sourdough bread is easier for the body to digest, packed with more nutrients, and absolutely delicious.

ADDED BONUS: When you buy your sourdough from Slice of Heaven, we ensure that all ingredients are certified organic, AND made with freshly milled flour—which means it is LOADED with nutrients, that other sourdough lacks✨️

We don't swap our menu up often.
We don't offer a million different flavors.
But we do offer the best of the best—from ingredients, to preparation, to flavor.

Slice of Heaven is not just another sourdough bakery. Our mission is simple—to provide the community with truly healthy options, and allow them to take charge of their health.

Our goal is to make people more conscious about what they are putting in their bodies. We offer pantry staples, to help make swaps a little easier, so you don't have to overthink it🤍 by @sliceofheavenbreadco
