So when I saw Krispy Kreme had Biscoff-flavored donuts, I had to taste them. 😍

Bought them, took pics, and yes, they’re delish!

Don’t know up to when @krispykremeph is going to offer this flavor, so make sure to get yours while you can.

This is a must-visit in Los Banos!

Noel here! We’ve been seeing @wildbreads for a while now passing by in our feeds…

And me especially as a bread lover, I’ve been drooling over their delicious breads…

And we never really got the chance to try it…

Until recently! Which made me happy of course. XD

We were pleasantly surprised by the SIZE of their croissants-bigger than the average one for sure.

Rae ordered the Toblerone while I ordered the Rosas. Both were packed with delicious flavors while still retaining the croissant texture you’re looking for. And the cream inside-super yum!

Eating one actually felt like eating an entire meal-it’s worth the bang for the buck. Or something. XD

The coffee and matcha were also pretty good.

As you can see in the pics, they have other offerings, but we did not have stomach capacity to try them. 😂

But we’ll definitely be back to try the other flavors… eventually. XD

The downside of their current store is that if you plan to stay long, seating is limited, but that’s about it. What’s great about the location is that it’s near UP Los Banos, so you can walk off the calories inside. XD

Verdict: we’ll be back! Oh, and definitely worth destroying your diet for one day. XD

So today, we finally got to visit @hgspecialty coffee!

We found out you could have coffee AND a minimalist tattoo in one place, so of course, we HAD to check that out! 😆

Order your specialty coffee and choose a minimalist tattoo, which is a separate Php 500! (Other designs can cost more and would depend on the size too.)

The place also features bikes 😍 So the combo, bikes, tattoos and coffee is an awesome combo in our opinion! 😉

Perfect for the #southie since this is located in @festivalmall!

Hey guys! We know it's been a while. We've been busy. 😅😂😀 But #sliceoflifemnl is still around, still posting about delicious foods and shooting yummy meals. 😍

With that said, hello from Osaka, Japan! We're currently in the line to check in with an airline (let's call it PebuCac), and we got hungry, and we suddenly had the craving for something Pinoy.

Something like... Ensaymada.

Ensaymada in Japan? Possible? 😲

Yes it is: thanks to @20mantequilla20 from Nagoya, we got our premium and VERY DELICIOUS ensaymada fix. It's not even heated yet so we'll probably do a part 2 when we get home. 😁

But a quick review: it's FLUFFEH, super cheesy, and each bite will make you want more!

So if you're in Japan and want your Filipino pastry fix or you want to introduce your friends to a taste of Filipino baking, just contact @20mantequilla20! She does other pastries too-check out her page and look for Ms. Maria!

Handaan is open!

We were invited to the opening of @handaancavite in Naic, Cavite! Special shoutout to @foodagencyph @marxcyrus.

They started off the festivities with a gigantic crunchy pancit canton. YUM.

But the delicious food didn’t stop there, with us getting to experience their special okoy, bulalo, kilawin, inhaw na liempo, crunchy kangkong, and halo-halo! We actually got to eat their turon with ice cream as well, but we inhaled it pretty much so we forgot to take pictures. XD

We just love this place since it’s like a breath of fresh air in the area in terms of food and how pretty it is. You can see even Eos enjoyed taking pictures! 😁

So if you’re in the area, make sure to check Handaan at The Stadium Shopping Strip. The food and the ambiance makes the visit totally worth it! 😍

Halloween may be over, but your favorite Nutella Crunch by @cheeserollsbymissj is back and perfect even if Halloween is over! 😍

These Cheese rolls by Miss J is making our mouth water once again! 🤤😋

That crazy delicious flakey crust mixed with a that delish filling. Just thinking about it drives us crazy (in a good way!)

Hi guys! @noelsalazar86 here, I am the photographer for @sliceoflifemnl! 😉

Check out our shoot for @healthkitchenmnl! 😍

This one is pretty special for us because we had the opportunity to use the Canon R5 and the Canon 24-105 RF lens. Thank you, @canonphils!

We loved how the lens focused so fast, and how we could just touch the LCD to select wherever we wanted to focus. The flip LCD was also pretty useful - we just flipped it out and peered through it so we could get the shot at whatever angle we were shooting from.

Oh and as is our trademark, all the photos you’re seeing here are fresh from the camera. What that means is that the R5 has some pretty amazing colors!

There was no need for us to correct anything. 😉

And the detail… oh man, Instagram does not do the photos justice. The R5’s 45 Megapixels were almost too superb when it comes to details. Everything looked so crisp - just perfect for food photography!

We only had 2 major (minor?) problems with the R5 and the lens.

1. The weight of the camera body and the lens combined could get uncomfortably heavy over time. Thankfully, we weren’t shooting an event, so we could put down the camera, but still… it’s HEAVY.

2. Since we only had one battery for the unit, we found that it wasn’t enough to last for long shoot periods. But if we had an extra battery, this probably wouldn't be a factor, since all photographers should have spare ones any way.

The only thing we were wishing for after was if only billboards were still as in demand as digital products. LOL.

From Singapore to Philippines! 😍

YES! These beautiful chocolate bars traveled all the way from Singapore to the Philippines! 😍 We specifically asked a friend to take home @awfullychocolatesg’s Chocolate Bars in Espresso, Cappuccino, Salted Caramel Latte and Matcha Latte! 😍

Though it kind of got smushed a little from the travel, STILL, tasting each and every flavor was sheer bliss! ☺️

Awfully Chocolate is always a MUST visit whenever we do our yearly Singapore visit! If you haven’t tried their truffles and chocolate cake, you are MISSING a LOT! 🥺

What happens behind the scenes? 🤔

We hardly ever show us because we are usually excited to show the finished product BUT if you are curious to see who are photographer is, he is 1/2 of our team (the other is me, Rae, the Art Director/Stylist) and the other equally important person is Noel.

He is important because he is the photographer. 😆

Without his solid work and background of professionally photographing your visuals, there would have been no @sliceoflifemnl.

ATTENTION: You NEED to try this! 😍

We have always been excited to feature local Pinoy specialties, like @mandingsumanlatik’s tasty Suman Latik and Currucud (Suman Gata) and in chocolate-filled version too! 😍

To be honest, this was such a treat for us since we haven’t tasted Pinoy delicacies lately and we have started to miss them again.

Kakanins are usually dishes we order during special occasions (in our case, we get these during New Year 💜) but after tasting (and enjoying) Manding’s Suman Latik, we realized that we should have it more often! 😆

When you order this, you get a GENEROUS serving of each kind! We also LOVE how beautifully packaged it was, so when it was delivered, the experience felt even more special. (Yes, we are that kind of people who loves a beautiful presentation. It makes for an awesome experience!)
