Happening at The Lemon Tree 🍋

Sometimes what’s happening here isn’t an event you can walk into.

Sometimes it’s girls discovering something new about themselves, building confidence, learning something new and being reminded of the beauty that’s already within them.

Today, The Lemon Tree welcomed the @gsnorcal in partnership with @slick_face beauty for Beauty Within a workshop with no cost to the girls, created just for them.

Everything for the workshop was provided by the Girl Scouts, creating a space where the girls could learn, create, connect and have some fun along the way.

And we have to give a special shoutout to Milan, who works with the Girl Scouts and is the planner behind these experiences. She’s often behind the scenes making sure all the pieces come together and today was another beautiful example of what happens when someone puts thought, intention and heart into creating meaningful experiences for our girls.

But then… community added on.

I reached out to Flori founder of @teamjesusoutreach and she blessed the girls with goodie bags to take home. Because sometimes you see something good happening and think, how can we add to this 🙌🏽

Milan planned it all.
The Girl Scouts provided it all.
Slick face Beauty facilitated.
Flori added the goodie bags.
And The Lemon Tree provided the space for it all to come together.

That’s the ecosystem.
