My family saw it up close. Catching up on emails before the 8am calls. The readings finished after the house went quiet. The weekends split between building multiple businesses, capstone drafts, and being a consistent, present member of my household. All to lay the foundation of something I'm building from the ground up.
This degree happened in the margins.

Two ceremonies. Celebrations woven throughout the whole weekend. It has been a lot — beautifully so.

And still, this morning I made breakfast and grabbed flowers. Not out of obligation. Because the women in my life earned that intentionality.

None of this happens without them.

@ishanunn — you have been building alongside me the whole time. Your own work, our family, Sage, and still, you never made me feel like my dreams were too much. This degree belongs to both of us. Happy Mother's Day to my wife and the first example my daughter will ever have of what showing up fully actually looks like.

Mom — I've been drawing on what you deposited in me my whole life. Still am.

And to every mother figure who showed up for me along the way — you're in this too.

The weekend will wind down. The flowers will fade. But the women who hold your world together — that's permanent.

I am honored to live a life with a partner that gets me, that complements me, and challenges me to continue to clear these levels and push onto bigger challenges.
