The Wolf and His King

@finnlongman wrote an absolutely stunning queer retelling of the 12th century werewolf story Bisclavret by Marie French. I read it cover to cover in one sitting, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I absolutely could not rest until I painted this.

The book is not only a lovely story in its own right, but as someone with chronic illness, the way the werewolf is written is especially cathartic.

Werewolf, knights, medieval banquets, pining, stunning prose - 5/5 you must read it right away by @slightlytranslucent
