Artist Introduction: Berlin-based slim_aguilera curated this new edition of “Bassalicious.” His DJ career began ten years ago with “nerdy” trap music; he started by organizing events in Kassel, followed by various radio shows. Over time, he discovered a passion for bass music and developed a signature sound blending footwork, dub, jungle, UK/Latin bass, and more—always incorporating elements of trap, hip-hop, RnB and Reggaeton. In his sets, he loves playing with vocals and merely hinting at melodies. Check out his “Phone Call” mix series on SoundCloud to get a feel for his sound. taken in Noch Besser Leben by @slim_aguilera
