Earlier this year, I went on @wildwomanbookstudy retreat in Peru. The transformation I experienced was unlike anything I’ve ever felt. It opened something in me that I didn’t even know was waiting to be unlocked. That experience inspired me to create an all-inclusive writing retreat with @peruincreible a space where writers of every level, background, and style can come together to create, connect, and grow. Whether you’re a poet, lyricist, storyteller, professional journalist, or someone who’s simply been waiting for the right moment to put pen to paper, this retreat was created with you in mind.The community I found on that retreat helped me believe this vision was possible. This poem, written after that journey, is just the beginning of everything that was awakened within me.Now, I’m looking forward to sharing that same spirit of creativity, connection, and fulfillment with a whole new group of writers and seekers.
