To celebrate our 10th release, we are proud to welcome @slippy__g to the RAW SOUL family.
The Cologne-based producer, DJ and freestyle rapper was inspired by the German beat scene, J Dilla and niche underground rap while growing up with hip-hop.
He also delved deeply into electronic music, discovering the shared DNA between beat-driven hip-hop and early house productions — from the raw energy to the production techniques of the legendary Akai MPC.
Over the years, Slippy G has built his own creative playground, crafting a sound that blends groove, warmth and raw authenticity with his own vocals.
RAWSOUL010 delivers six versatile tracks designed for the dance floor, smooth warm-ups and sunrise moments at festivals. Across the release, Slippy G showcases the vibrant soundscapes in his repertoire. If you’re looking for grooves that get you in the pocket or house tracks that pay homage to the early ‚90s with a playful twist, RS010 got you covered.

On Friday, October 16th, we are coming together for our very first night at JAKI.

Delight stands for a warm gathering that evokes a feeling of pure joy, inviting you to just close your eyes and dance. As summer fades, we’re taking that warmth and energy into the club and onto the dancefloor, creating a space for togetherness, belonging, and delight! 💕

For our debut, we couldn’t think of anyone better to welcome onto the decks than our dear friends @slippy__g and @da_sypoda . To make the night even more special, @karetebu from Berlin is joining @da_sypoda for a b2b you probably won’t forget.

da:sypoda is a DJ and sound artist with a distinctive style characterized by broken rhythms, vibrating bass, and tribal-infused grooves that open the dance floor rather than dominate it. Her sets blend 2000s minimal, deep vocal house, and technoid interlockings into an organic, warm hybrid. She is a resident at C2 Ost (Karlsruhe) and is a member of the collectives TabanSchmunkeln (Bonn) and AlForno (Mainz).

Character unlocked: karete bu. Rooted in House groovers, UK-leaning rhythms, and a weakness for records with a bit of dusty history. Her sets are guided by hipswings that occasionally take a left turn when the room is ready for it, sharp timing, and a tendency to let things simmer until they don’t. As a former resident at Leipzig’s Institut fuer Zukunft, she fostered young talent in the DJ rehearsal room and developed a sound that isn’t afraid of spectacle when the moment calls for it. Today, based in Berlin, she works for the beloved festival Nachti by Nachtdigital, helping to shape it from the inside out and keeping the backstage just as lively as the dancefloor.

Slippy G is a producer, live artist, and DJ hailing from Cologne. Frequently traveling through Germany with his sound, he is known for a wide musical range, engaging performances, and his work behind the scenes to keep our culture lively. Slippy brings a versatile and energetic approach to everything he does. Get a glimpse of his sound with his latest debut release on RAW Soul Records.

@leon.egall & I throw our third Cheeky Sound Service Party @dorett.__ in Mainz.
We didn’t expect much that day but how life plays, it went straight vibes from start to finish, at 6.30 the lights went on and all the lovely dancers still standing there. Thanks everybody. The dance floor is nothing without dedicated music lovers and dancers like you. Let’s keep that underground house spirit bubbly. Unfortanetly for all of those who wanted to hear the Recording of the night, my SD card was not as vivid as you guys. It died after an hour in. On January 31, RAW SOUL returns to @goethebunker Essen to continue the more house-oriented side of electronic music. The focus remains on openness, musical flow and stripped down grooves touched with soul, never defined by a single style or formula.

@dj____frank , aka Nastassia Frank, joins as a guest following the release of her debut EP on Hamburg based label @cafesoda . She holds a residency at @gewoelbe_cologne and has proven herself internationally through appearances across clubs and dancefloors beyond Germany. Alongside her DJ career, she curates her own party series @prude______ , reflecting her commitment to carefully shaped musical spaces. Her sound combines textured synthesizers, grooving rhythms and subtle emotional layers, shaped by a strong sense for atmosphere and timing.

@slippy__g , producer of the latest RAW SOUL release, presents the sound of his new EP Multicolored Echoes. The record explores different shades of House music, moving between warm, minimal and driving elements, guided by groove, detail and a clear musical identity.

@patraik , representing RAW SOUL as label owner, completes the night with a selection that connects the artists and their musical perspectives into a focused and coherent flow.

Expect a night rooted in House music in many forms. Groovy, warm, driving and reduced in form, yet rich in feeling.

Soft Zoom is an Ambient Recording I did with peace in mind. Inspired by a calm evening the mix covers Ambient channeling the free Sound of world music and simultaneously creates space & room for an experimental charachter. Listening back to the recording a few days later with my favourite person hit just right so I decided to present it to you.
