Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 - Warzone Beta thoughts on 🖱️&⌨️.

This feels way clunkier than MW3 and a lot like MW2. After BO6 and BO7, I think some people might actually welcome the change, but if we’re returning to Modern Warfare, I’d really like it to feel like we’ve left MW2 behind.

It still feels like they’re trying to finish the evolution of MW into more of a tactical shooter by slowing everything down. Slide canceling is still there, but it almost feels like you’re being penalized for trying to use it.
The biggest difference is that outplay potential feels much more about awareness than movement. You really notice it when trying to escape a fight. Getting away feels surprisingly difficult.

I also had Auto Tactical Sprint turned off because of my own negligence, which made everything feel even slower. Fortunately my COD muscle memory reminded me to tap shift 2x.

I had already played the multiplayer beta at @gamescom at the @samsung booth, so I had a little feel for how it would play. But even on my home rig with 20+ more FPS., it somehow felt even slower.

I’m still hopeful for DMZ because I think this slower pace could actually work really well there. But I hope, like MW3, they find a happy balance with the movement.

Honestly, I’d be perfectly happy if they just used MW3’s movement system, made a few tweaks, and called it a day.

MW4 Warzone Beta thoughts 🖱️⌨️

I hate you @activision Just a trash company with trash AI. Purchased BO7 again with a card using PayPal in Germany. A day later the charge got reversed for being from a “foreign” country (my country of residence) game was pulled from library, and then a permanent ban for COD Points fraud. Blizzard through which I used Battle.net to purchase could see the issue but Activision just has automated processes. I got my money back already and you just converted me to a free player if I ever install again. by @slitherox
