It really hurts to see my SLK like this. So many memories and adventures and friendships in my life have come from this car. The chassis is a total loss. Luckily these cars aren’t worth a ton of money used and can easily be found. I do have huge plans to rebuild the car in a new chassis but that will have to be severely kicked down the road.

Right after the 5.4L M113 V8 swap was completed this happened. Glad I’m okay but my heart definitely will hurt for a long time with this loss. by @slkcasey

As much as I love Florida and all the wonderful and beautiful areas around me I will always miss Georgia a little bit. I lucked out and my childhood friend Andrew got married the same weekend #AVF is hosted in Helen. I knocked out two birds with one stone and saw some lifelong friends at the wedding. I also got the FINALLY experience my SLK55 on some amazing twisty roads. 10/10 what a great weekend trip. by @slkcasey

#AVF in Helen hosted by @eurotripper is hands down my favorite meet of the year. The amount of LOVE and support my SLK got from everyone was so rewarding and I had a massive smile on my face the entire week. From meeting so many great people, to tearing up twisty mountain roads it is always an event I will cherish forever. So many amazing VW,Audi and Porsches eveerywhere. Happy #mercedesmonday everyone! first things first I need to say a MASSIVE thank you to @_vanwagon_ for putting together this MB meet, while primary focused on W140 S class all Benz were welcome.

And can we all agree how BEAUTIFUL this picture of my car is! Thanks to the talented @hnky.kong for the amazing shots. Please scroll and see his other photos he took that night.

#Throwbackthursday My first ever car. 2000 SLK230 w/ kompressor and 5 speed manual. I started working when I was 15 at grocery store and I walked to work everyday. I saved 1800$ and went half and half on W/ pops. On my 16th bday I got caught drinking and had to wait SIX months to get my license. Picture this, the car is beautiful in my driveway and I am old enough to have a license but still walking to work. Four months after i end up crashing the car TWICE in one day! 1st crash I rolled into the car in front of me going 2 mph.The second crash about an hour later I was showing off like a dummy and lost contol of the car around a turn when that supercharger wine kicked in a lump of torque. The SLK was toast. I had to pay to tow the car, then had to pay to get the car drivable. My dad made me clean the car up and post it for sale. He KEPT ALL THE MONEY! So now I’m back to square one.. 16 years old with no car,no pride. This brings me to my silver SLK. Now that I am a little bit older,(maybe) a little bit more wise. I am building the car to be exactly how 16 year old Casey wanted it to be. by @slkcasey
