I wanted to share with you today when I became interested in typography.

In 2016 I had the opportunity to do an internship at the workshop Encres&Lumières. During one week, I designed an entire brochure with the help of the typographer Jean Claude Bernard in an old cooperative. I learnt how typography works, the rigour and the meticulousness aspect.

I learned a lot about this exercise, but also about myself and about my abilities. I had finally found what motivated me in my daily work, still today.

An extract from my opening title for Desert flower, a movie about the life of @waris.dirie
I’ll always remember the first time i saw this movie and how i felt when i walked out of the movie theater. A powerful message. This movie deserves much more visibility because still today, too many people are unaware of the worldwide practice of exicision.

200 million women and girls worldwide have suffered female genital mutilation.

3 million young girls are at risk of female genital mutilation EVERY YEAR.
