This weekend, we joined forces with Brewtifi, Artisan, and Napolact for Hospice Casa Speranței. At the Bucharest Marathon, we prepared hundreds of coffees in exchange for donations, helping raise funds to build a children’s hospital. It was such a joy to be part of this heartwarming initiative and to see so many people coming together - participating in the event, cheering on their loved ones and even complete strangers, and donating to such a meaningful cause. The news about our Brunch Menu is here!🍴 We’ve had to say goodbye to a few dishes to make room for some seasonal newcomers. First up, the sweet treats. Granola and Tiramisu are making way for a little nostalgia in the form of Apple Strudel, made using Teodora’s mother’s recipe, and something truly special: French Toast, available on weekends only. Our French Toast is made with homemade sweet milk bread, a creamy blend of mascarpone and cream cheese with a touch of lemon juice, banana flambéed in butter and sugar, and a drizzle of caramel sauce. Moving on to the savoury dishes: our Grilled Sandwich now comes with pickles, adding an extra layer of flavour and balance. Shakshouka is back just in time for the colder season, taking the place of Turkish Eggs. The Salad as you know it is taking a little break, but we’ve introduced a new one in its place: crisp iceberg lettuce, a delicious dressing, pan-fried chicken, cherry tomatoes, pickled boiled eggs, and fresh basil. Some of our team members have already declared it their new favourite! And then there are the Balkan Potatoes, a brand-new addition to the menu: oven-roasted potatoes topped with telemea, sunny-side-up eggs, fresh dill, and hot paprika. As the Romanian saying goes, they’re “curcubeu pe cerul gurii” - a rainbow of flavours! Our Brunch Menu is served exclusively at Splaiul Independenței 287. 🕙 Monday-Friday: 10 AM-2 PM

We’re halfway through the 10th anniversary edition of @slowcoffee_festival, and you can find us at Romexpo, Pavilion A, on the first floor, right next to the Cupping Room. We’ll be here until 6 PM today, and afterwards, we’ll be heading to our location at Calea Victoriei 31, where we’d love to see you all for the post-festival gathering! We’ve brought eight coffee lots from our current selection, available for tasting. We’re preparing them in rotation throughout the day, so you’ll have the chance to try them all. We’re also offering discounts across all our products, so it’s a great opportunity to discover something new or stock up on your favourites. Yesterday, our team split their time between our booth and the Code2Cup competition, where Teodora was part of the judging panel. Today, you’ll find us both at our stand and at the Stronghold Roasting Championship, where Florin is competing. Tomorrow will be another busy day for the team, with Irina brewing coffee at the @brewtifi stand from 1 PM to 2 PM, Bogdan, Cezar and Emanuel competing in the AeroPress Championship, and Teodora joining a podcast recording - all alongside our presence at the stand.
