I've been very quiet lately, not to say that I don't have some plans cooking in the background. I want to add more drama with documenting Melbourne's urban art scene, a unique perspective to break the mould.
More to come soon!

'The Original Image'
I took this image of Max Cavalera and Igor Cavalera on Sunday night after their Third World Trilogy gig in Northcote.
I posted the image to a Cavalera Conspiracy/Sepultura/Nailbomb FB page. It was shared by a group member, the photograph, with a slight edit, was then claimed by the group member as their own. Since then it has been shared by the bands official social media pages with this other users name. It has been linked with a record store in the UK, as promotion. It makes me sick that people continually poach images without permission and don't credit the photographer, especially being used for commercial purposes. These issues constantly plague me and my photographic pursuits. Probably a big reason why I've been on hiatus for some time now.

I did work experience at a Graphic Design firm in the early 90s, as a youngster. I was questioned why I wanted to become a graphic designer and I was told there was no future in the industry, with the imminent arrival of the World Wide Web.
Maybe these guys needed to pick up a spray can, just like SAEM has done here ☝️
I find myself at that same crossroads with photography and the suffocating nature of Artifical Intelligence. Individual skill, investing valuable time, social media platforms that aren't supportive and constantly being overlooked and made obsolete.
Maybe I should pick a spray can just like SAEM has done here ☝️
