New soundtrack out today. Open Wide. A Jazz horror cannibal orgy short directed by @theothersamfox . Available on all listening platforms. Lots of sex, lots of sax. A real fun one. With some unexpected grooves, bangers, and also a 50’s style cannibalism love ballad to close things out.

Barbara Walters Tell Me Everything. Out today on Hulu! Such a bad ass project for a bad ass (and complicated) person. It was a really fun and unexpected assignment for the score. The smoothest experience I’ve had with the funniest most talented people around.

2nd slide left to right from the desk of The View:

@jackie.jesko had a clear and unwavering vision from the second I was brought on untill the very end. Amazing director.

@meredithkaulfers assembled the dream team like some evil mastermind of cool people. She just gets it. All of it.

@marcellaofaventine ran the best ship around using high kicks to propel us. Nothing felt like a chore. Everything was laugh. Shes the best.

@mandolin64 is the best doc editor in the game right now. I can’t thank him enough for his support for me especially. We always seem to work on the same projects…. And I know that’s no coincidence.

Not pictured: @joesimmonsthemusician made my music sound way better than it should have.

Watch it now. by @sloppysami

Stream Pets now on Disney+ directed by Bryce Dallas Howard. A no frills feel good movie that we all could use more of these days. It’ll make you want to hug your pet, or get one. Doubly so if you have kids too. Score was super fun to make, and available on all listening platforms as well! by @sloppysami

Premiering tonight! First two episodes of David Blaine: Do Not Attempt. @davidblaine was super rad and inspiring to watch over and over again while I tried to add worthy music to his insanity. Each episode takes place in a different part of the world, and is a like a mini movie which has its own themes and vibes. Stream tonight on nat geo Disney plus or Hulu after MSU wins. by @sloppysami

@constance_tsang ‘s Blue Sun Palace. Premiering at critics week at Cannes. One of the more beautiful, singular, and well executed films I’ve ever done music for. One of those where within 2 minutes of the opening scene I knew I wanted to be a part of it. Congrats Connie and crew. Well deserved.

Premiering at Sundance. @zvereff ‘s Drago will be part of the @sundanceorg film festival shorts block. Super excited and proud to have done the music and sound again for Dan. He’s an unrelenting creative beast and we are artistic kin. We worked all year on it (two years for him). @deadgeoff did another bang up job on the sound mix. Always making the jaw drop and eyes water. And @mezzo4te killed the violin riffs that I thought were going to be hard (spoiler alert: they weren’t). Hot damn! Can’t wait to snowboard. Haha. 🥳 taken in Milky Way Galaxy by @sloppysami

Willow: Behind the Magic! A mockumentary / real behind the scenes of the new Willow show on Disney + today. A super delicate concept that was pulled off brilliantly by everyone involved: Adam, Meredith, Darcie, Paul, Ryan, Mimi, many others. A real fun one, specifically for fans of that show ‘Life’s too Short.’ This was exciting to score. I learned a lot. Everyday is a school day. taken in Milky Way Galaxy by @sloppysami

‘We Feed People’ doc directed by Ron Howard is out on May 27th on Disney+. I was honored to score this one. Its the inspiring origin story of World Central Kitchen, and Chef Jose Andres’ unbelievable efforts to feed people after catastrophes or times of conflict. taken in Milky Way Galaxy by @sloppysami

RISENY! A flying 4d ride and New York museum just had its grand opening in Times Square. I made the music for the ride, interweaving original themes with legendary needle drops: Frank Sinatra, Alicia and Jay, Taylor Swift. The sound design and theatre mix was done expertly by the incredible @deadgeoff and the @bronxaudio family. @paulywash and @brent_young and the peeps at @super78studios came correct making their concept and visuals come alive.

It’s kind of cool to have lived in NYC for so long, and to now have a little piece of myself permanently installed in arguably the heart of the greatest city on the planet.

And, oh yeah, jeff goldblum.

Enough talk. Go ride the ride!!!! taken in Milky Way Galaxy by @sloppysami

Premiering at SXSW. An animated short titled ‘Life is a Particle Time is a Wave’ by @zvereff. I did the music and sound design. This is the trailer. Mix by @deadgeoff. Super proud to have worked on this with Dan. It’s always rad to stumble on a human whom you trust to make good things, and even better when they return that trust in kind. It makes the whole process so fun. Stoked to go down to SXSW. taken in Milky Way Galaxy by @sloppysami
