the colors of fall speak to everyone in different ways; for me - evoking deep resonance. I am immersed in happy childhood memories, gratitude, and fleeting realities. It requires presence and honesty. I’ve been thinking about what drives the artist to create, reflect, or to communicate visually. Is it the bubbling containment of joy or the disbelief that things are misunderstood without various mediums. I once heard a bitter explanation - that artists just like decoration. Lol. Out of control, crass misjudgment. I would never think a true artists pursuits are in vain. Often, the efforts to connect, speak, share, and experience can and will be misunderstood. Surround yourself with people that are present. & Share with people involved in their own experiences, not looking over your shoulder keeping tabs. Add to the conversation of the spirit of creating art and not the conquests of what artists can do, skills, clout, or worldly success. Save that conversation for when we’re dead and gone. by @slothinkstudio
