Once again… WHAT! A! WEEKEND!
Rd 5 at @klutchkickers did not disappoint. We had a car that was FLYING all weekend. I learned a lot about driving in the wet, made some changes for Friday practice, and once the track dried Saturday we were back at full tilt. We had challenges, but nothing we couldn’t handle while keeping the car on track.
Running KK these last 3 rounds has taught me A LOT—what the car can do, what I needed to be competitive in a STACKED field, and what we needed to do as a team. I haven’t been pushed this hard since I first learned to drift almost 15 years ago.
Huge shoutout to everyone who made this possible: @kenlmar for the track and series, the staff that kept everything running, @kurtis_k1built behind the scenes, @downshiftdame and @superluckyaustincat for commentating, @sky_burial for on/off-track work, @lana_del_earnhardt for running the line, @mikeprez for the entertainment, the judges (@willparsons , @zpolof , Tony Schulz, @benhobson213 ), @walltapmediagroup and @filup277 for their work on track, @nono62392 for keeping grid moving, and everyone else who played a role. You’re appreciated.

Here’s to the end of KK’s first season at Midpond. I’m coming back next year for the full season and I plan to make a statement.
