After 365 days, some repairs were in order. I found some bright red 7oz canvas that I thought would be a cool pop of color to reveal as the weft yarns eventually shred away. I’m not very experienced at sashiko stitching, but this was a fun little project to add a unique flair to this pair. SEXIH25-633

Wow, this is it. It’s been a full year and these jeans were there everyday. Covered in dirt, cleaned up for a night out, or just lazing about. This was my first Indigo Invitational and it was a blast fading along with all the rad folks across the globe who appreciate this humble garment. Congrats to all the finishers!

The final 31 days are here! Wild to think I have worn these jeans every single day since last September. They’re definitely showing signs and collecting scars, but I couldn’t be happier with the evolution. Month 10 submission photos. Over the last month I finally got some holes developing around my wallet (front left pocket) and the inevitable crotch spot. Nothing too bad, easy fixes and part of the game. 301 wears, 1 cold soak, 9 machine washes. Loving the ride with these jeans, and we’re nearing the home stretch!
