Slow Karma blend virtuosic musicianship with underground spirit. It’s all DIY, it’s all uncompromising, and it’s all love.

“Q: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙙𝙤 𝙎𝙡𝙤𝙬 𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚?”
“A: 𝙔𝙚𝙨.”

We draw from everything we love, from spiritual jazz, to experimental hip-hop to stadium pop, and we’re committed to making the music 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦.

We formed in 2024 & our first year saw nine singles, national radio play, festival bookings, crazy streaming numbers, collabs with some of the UK’s most exciting musicians, and our sold-out “Season One Finale” show.

We’re now entering Season Two and we’re back in the studio exploring new bits of the endless map, with our compass set on the Liquid Rooms in March 2026….

The wheel turns again… ☸️

👀 Test stills from the film of our Liquid Rooms show.

Peep the unmistakable poise of @cathalmurphy_music, the glorious intentionality of @harlequad and the effortless grace of @justynacello in there.

Very excited to share more…

Out to the maestro @mrmclardy on the timeline & the colour wheel. taken in Liquid Rooms Edinburgh by @slow_karma_

🧧EDINBURGH JAZZ & BLUES FEST DEBUT!

Slow Karma are playing the @edinburgh_jazz Mardi Gras at the Grassmarket on Saturday at 1430 alongside the superb @thekillerhorns and @dopesickfly and lots of other great acts.

Mardi Gras is a gorgeous, free outdoor party - it’ll be heaps fun. We’ll be honouring the spirit of New Orleans (in our own soecial way…!) and ofc we’d love to see you there.

AND SK will be joined by the maestro @joserojasnavea on percussion. It’s gonna be vibes.
