Last week we set out on a Mountainous Excursion averaging 93km 2602m over 8 days from Bolzano to the north, tracing the back half of the @sneakpeaks_cc adventure route from last year. It linked us around the Dolomites twisting and turning through some of the most rewarding gravel passes and zooming descents you can find. The promise of a cold bevy at the top of the pass made even the most chundery hike-a-bike worth it. And as we finally matched the flow of the rivers the temperatures soared and the thunderstorms boomed. I’m sure you’ve heard of the Euro Heatwave 🥵 it was the kinda heat where the heartbeat in your head matches up with the roaring of your tires like some twisted melody. Mid ride dips were a must, but made for some of the best moments. Bike tour is a refresh for the race mind. Putting in huge days you can be proud of but still making it to camp not completely drained. It stretches the pleasures and is an absolutely necessary reminder of why we do this. This past weekend marked the finale of an incredible run of events and Messenger Championships that kicked off in May in Warsaw (@preecmc26), rolled through Berlin (@ecmc2026) and Switzerland (@suicmc26 ), then headed to Milan for the Messenger World Championships (@cmwc2026 ), before finishing in the beautiful coastal city of Genova for the closing celebration @postcmwc2026 🎉 Nearly a month of alleycats, group rides, campouts, competition, and friendships sparking unforgettable memories along the way.We were lucky enough to catch the final main race at @postcmwc2026: a brutal three-hour work-simulation race weaving through the steep streets of Genova, with a few messenger games thrown in for good measure. Only the truly dedicated Pro’s were in attendance , so it was no surprise to see so many @kryptonitelocks in the mix 😏.What a way to wrap up an epic month of messenger culture, racing, and community 🫡 by @slow_leak

Emma Missale and Sean Geivett roll into @hellenicmountainrace with momentum already building. Following a second-place finish at Atlas Mountain Race, achieved against the odds of injury setbacks and the challenge of racing together for the first time, the pair now turn their focus to the next chapter of an ambitious goal: completing all four Mountain Races within a single calendar year together.“Hellenic Mountain Race is a very special route for us. In 2024, when we decided to begin the ultra journey we’re now on, we initially registered as a pair. As things unfolded, we decided to race it solo instead, as we were still so fresh to it all. It ended up being the right call.Hellenic Mountain Race reshaped our brains in a way we’ll always be grateful for. The elevation, the exhausted tyre tracks etched into the ground, and the elation that came with completing such a sublime route. Three minutes + a handful of Medjool dates is not enough to convey the great vastness of planet Morocco 🇲🇦 and what AMR does to your body and soul 🌪️We MADE it. Against a few odds. Skipped the full bike check from the @atlasmountainrace - but while my whip is still covered in Morocco- here are 5 bits that genuinely helped me get it done in good fashion:• @restrap Switch Rack + Cage - The real MVP. Quick install, rock solid in the rough, and carried an extra 1.5L when water was scarce. Started with a 7L dry bag (full sleep kit) on it. By day 4 my shoulder was wrecked, so I had to get dynamic - moved the dry bag to the bars, strapped a smaller pack with layers to the rack, and shifted the bladder into the frame bag. Took weight off my back and saved the ride. Worth the roadside faff in Taznakht! I hear it’s available to the public now 👀 • @ultradynamico BRUT 53mm - Zero punctures, countless rock banged, fast rolling with enough bite when things got loose. Gravel bike → mini hardtail unlocked. And the Smell is to die for 👃 • @albion.cycling Polartec Hoodie - Absolute workhorse layer. I wore it ~75% of the race. Breathable enough for long climbs in the sun, but cut the wind perfectly in the valleys and descents . Soft, low-bulk, easy to stuff on/off without stopping the rhythm. Layered under a shell when temps dropped below zero and still felt mobile. Basically lived in it. Cozy but that nice gorp feel.• @fizikofficial Vento Argo R1 Adaptive Saddle - Swapped 3 days before Morocco (bold). Huge gamble for big miles, but it paid off. Supportive without pressure, comfy on back-to-back long days, and I mostly forgot about it, which says everything.• Dynamo wheel + Sinewave USB - First time running a dynamo and now I get it. Set-and-forget power. Kept my light, Wahoo, inReach, and phone mostly topped up all race. No outlet hunting, no battery stress. Small climb tax, big self-sufficiency win. Plus @shotti_e made it and it’s bomb proof!It’s not all about gear, but when you have stuff that you can trust to get it done, it makes a huge difference :) by @slow_leak

Racing as a pair was a dream.1,425km and 25,00+m through the Atlas and Anti Atlas moutains of Morrocco. Vast openess, ice covered passes, wind you had to fight with all your might, and a lush side of Morrocco that we’d never expect. We got to experince sections in the daylight that we missed in the 13 hours of darkness last year. Shared the best omelettes on route, you know the ones, km 695, Cafe zaouite, almond butter and honey?! or maybe you prefer Issafen?! This ride was fueld by determination, but we followed a thorough plan…we had to make one this time around.Even with the extreme frontload of this route we were able to percivere, make mistakes, re-calibrate, ride out the lows, and cling for dear life to the highs. Our goal was to finnish. And Job done.We even gave it a lil swing at the end and tried to track down 1st pair - love a good hunt.The post ultra dreams(nightmares) will soon leave and the dexterity of the digits return.With Atlas behind, it’s now time to focus on The Pindus Mountains.📸 @nils_laengner by @slow_leak
