Not posting many me makes at the moment as I’ve got better things to do!
However, this is one I made just before coming away. I nearly didn’t bring it but I’m so glad I did as it’s getting so much wear.
This is my first #mmflorence in a lovely lightweight linen. I wasn’t sure about the pattern as I was worried about it looking like a tent and I really don’t like gathering and there’s quite a bit of that. I soon got over that when I started wearing it and I’ll definitely be making another dress version when I’m home.
I made a straight 10 but lengthened it about 5” I think. I love the longer length but I need to take the shoulders in a tad.

Finally finished! I’ve been a bit distracted this summer so this has taken longer than I’d hoped but I’ve really enjoyed making it.
126 x 156cm
All cotton. The tartan denim was a man’s shirt, the white was a thrifted sheet and the back was a large remnant from my stash. The red thread was Aurifil 8 from @beyond_measure_uk (2 spools)

2 for 1 today.
Number 23 mini-quilt (after a busy break) and a #mmtrapeze in linen.
I used french seams at the sides and back, bound the facing (see inside) and shortened it quite a bit. It’s a joy to wear in this hot weather. Oh and only took 1.5m of fabric
