One of the most special weeks with @mountain_luv_magic and company watching the storms roll in and the leaves change color on the coast of Washington between the ocean and the bay. Deepening my relationship with the sea and all of the magic and nourishment it generously offers if you are curious enough to look. I am so grateful for the amazing guidance from sweet teachers who live and breathe a daily practice of food resilience, sovereignty, and true connection with the plants and animals that feed us. From wild cranberries to razor clams, making oxymels and shucking oysters, running from waves in the rain and the moonlight, watching rainbows dip right into the water with the pressure canner happily steaming away all week long. Feeling empowered by practicing food preservation to keep a full pantry and a fed community through all the shifting seasons. by @slowlycomposting
