Some of you already know me, and for others, let me share a little bit of my story

For over 15 years, my life was all about international events & communication…organizing, creating, and sharing projects that connected people across different countries and cultures.
It was an exciting and intense journey that taught me a lot about people, communication, and community.

Then life shifted. I became a consultant, and with my son by my side, I discovered the world of Digital Nomad Families. That experience made me see life differently; slower, freer, and more focused on what really matters.

But here’s the thing: you don’t need to be a digital nomad to be part of this group The idea is simply to create a community of positive parents in Rabat (whether you live here or are just passing through). A space where we can give our kids less screens and overstimulation, and more connection with nature, values, and presence.

That’s what slow parenting means to me And I’m so happy to share this space with all of you 🙏💫🩵 by @slowparentingrabat

Meet Connie Peter: wife, mother of two, clarity and career coach for corporate moms, writer of The Flow Journey on Substack, and long-term family nomad.

Four years ago, Connie, her husband and their two daughters set off on a bicycle journey through Europe. That adventure became a new way of life. Since then, they’ve slow-travelled and world-schooled across 14 countries and 4 continents.

Every summer, we become part of the Zero Waste Skhirat Eco-Village.

And this year, it was something truly special🩵

Through theatre, storytelling, giant puppets, recycled costumes and playful art, children discovered the importance of recycling and protecting our oceans and marine life. ♻️

No lectures. No screens. Just imagination, creativity and learning through play.

This is the kind of experience we love at Slow Parenting…where children are free to explore, create, and connect with the world around them.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful lessons are the ones that feel like play.

Whether you’re already a Digital Nomad Family, travelling with your children, or simply curious about what’s possible...you belong here.

For Parents: Inspiring Talks, Workshops and Connections with the Digital Nomad Community.

For Kids: Play, Crafts and New Friendships in our Family Corner, supported by volunteers.

For the whole Family: Beach Adventures, Creative Activities and a Special Family Day.

Because becoming a Parent doesn’t mean giving up the Freedom to Explore, Connect and Discover. Sometimes, it simply means Creating New Adventures Together.

Nabila is a Moroccan Communication & Events Consultant, community builder, and part-time worldschooling parent with more than 15 years of experience in communication, events, and creating meaningful communities.

Through her own journey balancing family life, remote work, travel, and education, she has explored a question many digital nomads eventually face:
