Apparently someone has decided we’re all going back to the 80s… so of course I had to join the wave. 😂

I asked ChatGPT to show me what I would have looked like in the 80s—same face, same me, different decade.

And THIS is what it came up with. The funniest part? Miami Vice was actually my favorite show growing up. #donjohnson and all. 😂 So maybe ChatGPT knows me a little too well…

BARCELONA IN 4 DAYS 🇪🇸 The itinerary that actually works with kids, save this before your next trip!

We stayed at The One Barcelona, an elegant and convenient base near Passeig de Gràcia — perfect for exploring the city with children.

📍 DAY 1 — Historic Barcelona
We started in the Gothic Quarter, wandering its medieval streets before visiting Barcelona Cathedral. From there, we walked La Rambla, explored La Boqueria Market, and ended the afternoon around the marina.

📍 DAY 2 — Sagrada Família & Gaudí
The Sagrada Família was the highlight of our trip. Book a timed entrance in advance, and add the towers if your children meet the age requirement. We continued to Park Güell and the Gaudí House Museum for the colorful architecture, mosaics, and panoramic city views.

📍 DAY 3 — Casa Batlló & Passeig de Gràcia
We visited Casa Batlló — one of the most extraordinary interiors in Barcelona — followed by La Pedrera. The immersive elements in both make them surprisingly engaging for children. We finished with shopping and a relaxed dinner along Passeig de Gràcia.

📍 DAY 4 — Montjuïc & the Mediterranean
We took the cable car up Montjuïc for beautiful views, explored the gardens, then headed to Barceloneta for lunch by the sea. A slower final day — the perfect ending to our family trip.

Barcelona gave us the ideal mix of architecture, culture, food, and moments that Zoey & Zack genuinely enjoyed. Save this for your next trip, and tag the family you’d bring ❤️

San Sebastián in 4 days—what to see, where to eat and where to stay without spending $$$$ 🇪🇸

Save this guide for your next trip 👇

📍 DAY 1 — OLD TOWN
Explore Parte Vieja, visit Santa María del Coro and San Vicente, then climb Monte Urgull for beautiful views. Finish with a pintxos crawl at Gandarias, Ganbara, Txepetxa and La Cuchara de San Telmo.

📍 DAY 2 — LA CONCHA
Walk or bike from La Concha to Ondarreta, stopping at Miramar Palace and Peine del Viento. Then take the historic funicular up Monte Igueldo for the city’s best view.

📍 DAY 3 — FOOD & CULTURE
Visit La Bretxa Market and San Telmo Museum, then try Basque cheesecake at La Viña—where the famous dessert was created. Head to Bar Néstor for its legendary tortilla: it’s closed Mondays, and slices must be reserved in person. Arrive about an hour before the 1 p.m. or 8 p.m. service to add your name to the list. Chaotic, but worth it.

📍 DAY 4 — GROS & SHOPPING
Walk along Zurriola Beach, explore Gros and visit Tabakalera. Shop along San Marcial and Avenida de la Libertad, then finish with gelato at Arnoldo or Carlos Arribas.

Skip the waterfront premium. Choose Amara for value, Gros for atmosphere or Antiguo for a quieter stay.

South of France in one week 🇫🇷☀️
Nice, Cannes, Antibes, Biot & Saint-Tropez — where I’d go, eat, stay & what I’d skip.

Save this for your next Côte d’Azur trip 📍

🍋 Nice — Get lost in Vieux Nice, walk the Promenade at sunset and eat at La Merenda for traditional Niçoise food. For a beach day, escape to Villefranche-sur-Mer.

🛥️ Cannes — La Croisette + Le Suquet, dinner at Le 24 Suquet, then take a boat to the Lérins Islands for beautiful water and a quieter side of the Riviera.

🎨 Antibes — Musée Picasso, the old town and a walk along the ramparts. Lunch at La Joliette, then head toward Cap d’Antibes and La Garoupe for the sea.

🏺 Biot — The surprise of the trip. Medieval streets, glassblowers and little artisan shops for leather, soaps and beautiful pieces for the home. Quieter, charming and absolutely worth the detour.

🥐 Saint-Tropez — Go early for the Place des Lices market, wander the old streets and Citadelle, then escape toward the quieter coves around Cap Camarat. I’d choose this side of Saint-Tropez over spending the entire day at a crowded Pampelonne beach club.

🏡 Stay like a local — Don’t overlook a beautiful Airbnb or village house. Shop the morning market, bring home fresh croissants, fruit and cheese, make a French breakfast, have coffee outside and pretend—just for a few days—that you actually live in the South of France. 🇫🇷🥐☕️

And of course… I had to have my full Le Gendarme de Saint-Tropez moment. 😂👮‍♂️

So proud of Zack for completing a full week of intensive training at #mouratoglou Tennis Academy in the South of France — in the middle of a heatwave! ☀️

Day after day, he showed up, stayed focused, worked hard and never gave up. Watching his discipline and determination made me one very proud mama. ❤️
