Here is a video of current and former students (like me 😊), and his wife, expressing our deepest gratitude for the legendary Mr. Garcia. The ending is so great it just shows he is and always will be apart of the Salinas High School and the Salinas Union High School District communities. Like they do it marvels style, something he likes a bit, Mr. Garcia will return #thankyouforyoursupport #seeyoulateralligator🐊 by @slsandem123
Here is the video for the AVID Senior Class of 2026 from last night. Thought it would be nice to showcase the people you may know in this video. Sorry about the speaker blocking a part of the students name. Again congratulations graduates by @slsandem123
It was nice to come back to Salinas last night and see not only so many students and their accomplishments in awards and being accepted to 4 year colleges at the AVID Awards Ceremony, but to say farewell to my former AVID and AP GOV Teacher Mr. Garcia. Thank you Mr. Garcia for being a role model to us all and we hope you enjoy the next chapter of your life. You have helped me and so many of us personally and professionally. You are the definition of what it means to be a teacher: what a kid is taught is what a kid becomes by helping them inside and outside the classroom. I ran in to another former teacher Mr. Uchelli who is already talking about being the next Mr. Garcia. I know he will do great things like Mr. Garcia. I also want to shout out to the other teachers (congrats Mr. Scott on being Teacher of the Year) and AVID Counselor Mrs. McCullough for making the program great for all. College is going to be hard and you will make a list of mistakes and that’s fine. Like my teacher from US History Ms. Kraft said “making mistakes helps your brain evolve and grow more”. As long as you learn from them, you’ll be fine. This is such an amazing program and school hope to teacher here when I finish college. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2026 #classof2026🎓 by @slsandem123
It was nice to attend @csumb_pif celebration for the Class of 2026 from last week. It was nice to come back to a place I call home while hearing so many heart warming and laughter stories. This program really changes lives and helps young people live great lives and give back to the community. #classof2026🎓 by @slsandem123
Trip to @ucberkeleyofficial last Friday was amazing. Even though I’m a @sjsu student, the campus and area are so peaceful, colorful, bright, and very green. Great to tour the place with a very special friend that attend this wonderful place. Seeing SF and the surrounding area from the bell tower makes me love California. Even though it’s not entirely perfect, I ❤️ #California by @slsandem123
This past year was both good and bad; overall it was crazy like a roller coaster. Happy New year to all and let’s make this a great year. From Seinfeld “Here’s to those who wish us well, and those who don’t can go to hell”. #happynewyear2026♥️🎆🎉✨🎈🌹💐❤️❤️❤️👌🤗🙌👏😘🥰❤️❤️❤️🧿 #fyp by @slsandem123
42 days later and I am moved into my own apartment with all the stuff I need. It felt scary at first but with good friends and family, I should be ok. While I may be starting the next chapter at @sjsu, I appreciate the stuff I learned and the people I met at @csumb. I may be going to a different school but it does not mean I won’t return. No matter where you do your education, as long as you have a goal and get a good education with good support, life will be a bit good for you 😉 by @slsandem123
Last Thursday’s graduation was amazing. Congratulations to Star and everyone who graduated as you start the next chapter of your lives. Life isn’t perfect but sometimes it works out for the best when you have support and hope. #classof2025🎓❤️ by @slsandem123
From last Thursday’s ceremony at Salinas High. Great job u guys by @slsandem123
Had a great time with my Mom this year at the Enchanted Christmas in San Jose this Sunday, loved the melted cheese on popcorn chicken wrapped in waffle combs(I think that’s the name they used), chocolate stuffed churros, and the best part of it all is the amazing maze full of color, light, and statues. This is the worlds largest Christmas lights maze and it’s amazing. San Jose rocks 🤘#enchantchristmas #thanksgivingbreak #besttripever by @slsandem123
This is from 2020 but shows how the Republican Party change and what people like Reagan would say. Yes he was not that good as president but better than Trump because Reagan put country over party first while Trump did the opposite. We must learn the mistakes made and stop being sad because if we don’t we could see another 1/6 attack where 6 people died and he benefited from it. Congratulations to those who voted in what we call a democracy in the United States of America. As Reagan would say “Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction” together with you, I pledge to answer that call to find common ground in this new administration #usa #greatestnationintheworld by @slsandem123
This was from last Sunday the day before my #20thbirthday. It was nice going back to San Francisco. Seeing the Golden Gate Bridge. Going on the Flyer Thrill Zone, and seeing a little dance show after dinner. It was an amazing day spending time with my Mom. But nothing could complete it with Indian Jalebi from Taste of India from Fremont. This has been a crazy past year; especially the last few months. I can say I can’t wait for the new year; especially when I’m 21 🍷 🍺 🥃 by @slsandem123
