POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Was a weird sesh. Felt old and bad. Tried crookeds on the ledge...failed. Tried some Fs Boardslide at the flatrail...failed. Tried impossibles over the hip...failed. The few other skaters were so much better today. I know, it's not about competition, but I allways feel like the weird older dude with the helmet and the wide boards (which I am). Hope to land at least a few cool tricks to legitimate my existence there 🤣🙈 But in the end I still could progress and land things I haven't landed before:
- Fs 5050 down the ledge (NEVER did this)
- Bs Pivot, Axlestall and Smith on a higher and steeper Quarter than I usualy ride
- Fs 5-0 on that Spine with the fat coping (not an impressive trick but I was really scared of that spine)

It's not much compared to other, but quiet a success for me.

2025 wrapped. Thanks for all interactions, in real life and the internet. Grateful for the progress I was able to make, for the few but very good sessions I had with other skaters in cool locations, for my body that transports my spirit and soul through this world for allmost 40 years and allows me to enjoy skateboarding even though it hurts sometimes.

Missed it. 2 Weeks without skateboarding. My body enjoyed the rest, my soul craved for skating.

One of the best feelings. The treflip is one of the tricks I practised the most. I still don't land them consistent but it get's better and better.

This one felt amazing. Went for a bit more speed than usual and it worked better then ever. The sound was also insane. Like a gunshot.

I want to sketch and illustrate more again. Allways did but similiar to skateboarding it went pretty quiet at some point in my history as other things like being a musician took very much time and dedication. Had some ambitions again back from 2020 on, but AI discouraged me quiet a bit. But you know what, f××× it. I'll do it anyways. I'm honest: I want to be good in the things I do. But what I really have to learn and work on is to not depend too much on what other people think or do and to not be so strict with myself. Comparison is the killer of joy and perfection shouldn't be the goal. by @slyder_snyder

Pretty anxious the last few days 😔 It's kinda ironic how a "big strong man" who mostly appears mellow and settled to others has to deal with this shit since his teens. A lot of compensating. I hope I'll be able to get to the core of it someday and not forget to have fun nevertheless. by @slyder_snyder
