Another visit, and we have one more in November; hopefully that will be the last. Thanks to City of Hope, Mom is doing great, and every day spending time with her is a blessing. Justin always said to me : ‘Love is demonstrated ,consistency, respect, effort, honesty, care, actions give those words meaning’ The way we care for the people we love says everything about our hearts. So glad Justin and I found this beautiful handmade Thai silk jacket for Mom in Thailand; it suits her so well. Thank you to y’all support both of us. It means a lot to me.💕 by @smacu

Taking mom and Justin for drive around Bishop. What a beautiful day! Wishing you guys have a nice day too! ❤️ by @smacu

I love my husband so much, and I want to take a moment to thank Kang Justin for all his hard work and for the kindness and love he has shown my Mom over the years.
Culturally, it has been an adjustment for both of them, but after 20 years together, I think he has done so well. I am so grateful to have him in my life, especially now. He has been a huge help to my Mom, always patient and attentive to her needs, and I’m so glad they have built such a strong relationship over the years.
It’s never easy when family dynamics change, and relationships change with them. That’s why it means so much to have someone who brings consistency, stability, and reliability, the kind of love that holds a family together through every challenge.
Thank you, Kang Justin. I love you. ❤️ by @smacu

I love this photo I took of Kang Justin, he was a natural, even the trainer was impressed. by @smacu

We have been feeding mom all good food and snack all day …and now she’s gaining weight Justin bakes all these for breakfast almost everyday ,he is getting too good at it 😆❤️ by @smacu

So how many of you will understand this, is from a video game, the characters name is Ji-Gong, little KO Round 2, I have no idea why but this is pretty normal of Kang’s many ways of falling asleep, sometimes taking over to whole bed in some weird ass poses, dead to the world. Not only is he crazy when he is awake, but he is more crazy asleep.🤣 by @smacu

Today is Mother’s Day in Thailand, and I want to take a moment to honor my amazing Mom. I feel so incredibly blessed and grateful to have this time with her, to laugh with her, sit beside her, support her, and be part of her life. Walking alongside her through her treatment journey at City of Hope has given me an even deeper appreciation for her strength, courage, and determination. She has faced so much with grace, and even on the hard days, she continues to show the kind of resilience that inspires everyone around her.Being able to take her to appointments, meet the doctors who are caring for her, and see the compassion she receives has meant more to me than I can put into words. I will always be thankful for the care and support Mom has received throughout this journey.

I also want to give a very special thank you to Schelli, Mom’s caregiver, and to my cousin Cindy. Both of them have been such an important part of my mom’s care, support, and daily life. They are truly amazing mothers themselves, and I feel so blessed to have both of them in our lives. The love, patience, and kindness they have shown my mom mean more to our family than words can ever express.
As Justin and I prepare to move back home, we are looking forward to being closer to Mom and sharing more of everyday life with her. We are excited for the simple things: more time together, new memories, family dinners, and being present for the moments that matter most. Being close to the people we love is what home is truly all about.

Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful Mom. I love you more than words can ever express, and I am so proud to be your son. Justin and I love you dearly, and we cannot wait to be home and share more of our lives with you. ❤️

And to all of the wonderful moms who have sat in our salon chairs over the years, we want to wish you a very happy Mother’s Day. Thank you for trusting us, sharing your stories, your laughter, and pieces of your lives with us. We appreciate each and every one of you, and we hope your day is filled with love, joy, and the recognition you so deeply deserve. ❤️ by @smacu
