Coming up: the new album by Small Solar System Body.

Futurism, galaxies and space travel. Small Solar System Body ticks all the usual techno boxes. But Dutch techno producer David Hulsken goes a few steps further on his album The God Particle. “Space has always inspired me,” he says. “It is an infinite void filled with possibilities, questions and wonders.”

Pre-order up now via bandcamp. The first single Higgs Boson Discovery is out now on all platforms. Full album available digitally from March 28, 2025.

Six moons. One moment in time.

Lately I’ve been creating with no fixed shape just feeling, sound, and space.

From meditative piano sketches, breaks, electro to rolling tracks This is a small glimpse into the sounds I’ve been sitting with.

Enjoy 🚀🚀🚀🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐🪐

Want liefde is liefde. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

One of those unexpected moments…

Dancing in the crowd at @orbit_festival , enjoying the music, when @whoisstrangernl suddenly played my track Astral from the @___doddub___ 4 release.

Didn’t see that coming at all. 🥰❤️ by @small.solar.system.body

Composed and performed all the music live for @erfgoedspektakel at the Poldertoren in Emmeloord.

Bringing Cornelis Lely back to life through image and music made this one truly special.

Alongside the brilliant @studioschilp @lightupcollective_ and the incredible team at @ropes_aligned and special thanks to @luimesav for the amazing sound en service

Pure magic ✨

Soon! New building, New story. taken in Poldertoren by @small.solar.system.body

This coming Saturday (11-04 @ 19:00) We gather once again for an evening of deep sonic exploration and playful experimentation. (SSBS won’t be joining us, but @normalstage has agreed to grace us once more with his magic dub workout instead !) [Moosdohmen] works within live dub and ambient, using a modular setup to shape deep, immersive soundscapes that gradually unfold into a continuous, meditative journey. Jungle Of Wires brings an ever-shifting live performance where no flow is the same and no mood is predictable—an improvised dialogue between patch and machine, always searching for big sound within a minimal setup, inviting the listener into a constantly unfolding sonic adventure. As per tradition, Julien Chaptal will tune into the movements of microorganisms collected in Amsterdam on the day of the event, opening the evening through subtle pulses and living rhythms translated into electronics. taken in Doka by @small.solar.system.body

Some truly beautiful musical opportunities have come my way recently and to my surprise (since I’ve never won anything before), I received an award for Best Original Score for the shortfilm “De Grens van Eigenheid”. 🌌✨

On top of that, we’re busy expanding the studio, so for now I’ve had to temporarily move a small selection of gear to @deremiseutrecht , to keep creating.

Once the film is released, I’ll share some audio snippets with you. Can’t wait to reveal more about another scoring project I’m working on, and there are some truly exciting releases on the horizon.
