FREAK OUT IS BACK. On Saturday 31 October, Karangahape Road transforms into Auckland’s biggest Halloween playground for Freak Out - a full street takeover of creepy installations, music, DJs, projections, markets, makeovers, performances, trick or treating and plenty of things that go bump in the night. We kick things off family-style. 4.30–6.30pm: Kids. Costumes. Dogs. Trick or treating. Face painting. Markets. A mini monsters costume comp. Pop-up rave. Halloween surprises. Plus, the Freak Out Dog Parade, with Chris Parker and Suzanne Paul judging the competition. Then at 6.30pm, things get darker… Street projections. DJs. Music. Lights. Markets. Late-night Halloween mischief. And a Graveyard Tour for those brave enough Come dressed up. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. Bring your weirdest friends. Or just come and watch Karangahape Road turn into something else entirely. Time to FREAK OUT kids! Karangahape Road brings you lots of treats (and maybe a few tricks) on Saturday 31st of October. From 4:30pm, you can find 12 trick-or-treat spots at some of your fave locations along the road. Look out for the stickers at each location and follow the map to trick them...*cough*...tick them all off 🤭 We know all you lil monsters out there will bring your most creative & crafty costumes, so at 5:30pm the Mini Monster Costume Awards will take place. You could win some spooky slices thanks to our pals @salspizzanz 🍕 Ok now don't freak out too much but we have to tell you about the free Halloween Kids Rave :0 show off ya best moves e tamariki mā in Beresford Square until 6:30pm!
