POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Long before there was smallbatch, there were kids who couldn’t walk past a dog without stopping to say hi. Kids who spent afternoons with family pets, brought home strays, and never seemed to outgrow their love for animals.

Years later, that same love brought us together. 💕 We come from different places and different backgrounds, but we’ve always shared one thing in common: a deep love and respect for animals.

P.S. These were the photos we could find! Some of us grew up hearing, “No, we can’t get a dog,” and some childhood photos have simply been lost to time. We promise they’re just as animal-obsessed as the rest of us! by @smallbatchpets

What’s in every batch?

-humanely raised and harvested meats
-certified organic produce always
-pure supplements
-USA sourced ingredients

What’s NOT in every batch ever:

-factory farmed meats
-conventional produce or discards
-synthetic vitamin packs
-mechanically separated meat
-ingredients from China

Have you met Blue?! He’s the official very first smallbatch pet. Blue (aka Bluey, Blue Lou, Blue Boy, handsome boy, boss man, etc etc) inspired all of our first batches. We immediately realized we had to create a food that supported his needs — he had several infections, was underweight, scrappy, flea infested and afraid. In our home kitchen we began mixing batches just for him 💙 and these batches insipired us to create smallbatch.
We watched as this little guy quickly began to thrive and flourish — becoming stronger, healthier and happier. Each year becoming more handsome too! Blue is 18 years now, he’s the best batch taster, the life of every party, ultimate snuggle buddy, definitely a lover not a fighter. From feral to forever the greatest — here’s to you, Blue. by @smallbatchpets

While everyone is swooning over pumpkin spice, Bear’s over here drooling over rabbit.

He got to try Smallbatch’s new Freeze-Dried Raw Rabbit Small Bites, and that bowl didn’t stand a chance 😅

The recipe is complete and balanced, made with 85% rabbit, organs and bone, plus certified organic produce. Serve it as a meal, a topper, or a convenient raw option on the go (our favorite way!)

Pumpkin spice can wait. Bear’s got rabbit to eat 🐇

Choose better. Love louder.

A little warm water, a Smallbatch Freeze-Dried Raw Slider, and a Pupsicle = 20 minutes of enrichment! 👀 We soaked our slider for 5 minutes, pressed it into the small Pupsicle mold, and let our dog get to work. Such an easy way to turn mealtime into an enrichment activity. by @smallbatchpets

Listen, we’re passionate about pork. 🐷💚

And for good reason! Pork is an often-overlooked protein for dogs and cats, but it’s packed with high-quality protein, B vitamins, and minerals like zinc and selenium that support energy metabolism, immune function, and overall health.

It’s also considered a neutral protein, making it a great option for year-round feeding and adding variety to your pet’s protein rotation.

Of course, not all pork is created equal. Sourcing matters, which is why we work with trusted farming partners who prioritize animal welfare and responsible raising practices. That means no gestation crates, with an emphasis on humane living conditions and the well-being of the animals.

Now you know why we can’t stop talking about pork! 😉 by @smallbatchpets
