Yesterday was a good day. Not too often do I get two of my dream cars in one day 😁

Thank you @chen_557 for giving me the opportunity to work on your absolutely immaculate 997 GT3RS. What an amazing dream machine.

And check out the PTS lava orange on that Weissach GT4RS 🤯 Incredible.

A little highlight reel from the @porscheclubofamerica drive event a few months ago.

Thank you @porschesouth.atx for letting me work this event as their Certified Porsche Technician, and thanks to everyone who shared the adventure and chatted with me!

Some small tidying and test fitting the #moroso oil pan on the 2zz today, also just to keep the dust out of the engine.

I have the wrong water pump installed currently. I ordered a 2zz pump from the dealer, and they sent me a 1zz water pump. I didn’t realize until I had already installed it, and had an extra pulley left over lol. When I called the dealer about it, they said the 2ZZ pump was discontinued, so they sent the 1zz pump because it had the same bolt pattern 😂

I spent much of the last few months with my mom. In my heart I knew I was saying goodbye, but I always told her I’d see her soon when I had to leave.

Today I said it for the last time and she passed this afternoon. She was always the rock in my life, always supporting me and lifting me up. She was so kind, sweet and strong, even while facing cancer and countless other hardships in her life. Everyone who knew her has a story of how she helped them and had a positive impact on their life. I’m forever grateful to be her son. Rest in peace sweet momma. “I’ll see you soon” by @smallcarfun

I’ve said this already, and I’ll probably say it again.. The LAST big money part for the 2zz arrived! Look at those welds on the #moroso baffled oil pan 😍
In combination with my #Todo oil pump gear, if this thing blows up due to an oiling issue (hopefully oil temps stay cool) at least I know I did what I could do to prevent it.

I had last week off of fixing other peoples engines, so naturally I started working on mine again. 🤪 Please ignore the mess I made during the process haha

My last excuse for not putting the 2zz together arrived from @blackhawkjapan. I swapped the Todo gear set into the new OEM oil pump housing today.
