Ah well, happens. Carryin on, we reach Prince George and were never happier to pay way to much to stay in a subpar hotel. ( best western I’m looking at you) We leave bright and early bushy tailed, I grab a starbies to say farewell to my friend for 9 days. ( Kitimat doesn’t even have a coffee shop, I’ll get to that later) And alas, earwax. They fucking gave me a venti sized cup of COWS MILK ( ifykyk) right before a 7 hr drive. ( I don’t do dairy) It also wasn’t the right shade for my coffee. So Ner, I dinna drink it lass. Fear not. We continued on. taken in Prince George, British Columbia by @smalls_morley

To start off our trip to Kitimat, we drove thru a fecking pyro cumulus cloud in 100 mile hell ahem, house. When we arrived it was 2pm. The sky was so dark it looked like 2am. The atmosphere of the locals were frantic as glow of Mordor threatened in the distance. Ash was falling from the sky. ( pictured on the car) Ian and I, looking like city folk dressed in our finest shorts and sandals, meanwhile old red green in his flannel with 5 Jerry cans was filling up next to us looking like he was ready to mad max his way out of there. As if things couldn’t get worse, a thunder AND lightening storm starts. Whilest we were peeling out of the gas station a lightning strike was so close to us the street light surged. I wish we had dash cam footage for yall, cause I kid you not, my watch started recording a stairmaster workout because my heart rate spiked from 60 to 110. 10/10 do not recommend. But 10/10 will never forget. ( video is about 45 min outside of 100 mile house, and im just saying this is super, super good, super) by @smalls_morley
