“Shoulda Known” by Xander Pages & Marcé is coming out everywhere at 12:00 AM EST We made this song last summer, before we ever dreamed of creating a record label. When we met in our junior year of high school, we felt a synergy in our love for music, our upbringing in West Los Angeles, and our overall philosophies of open-mindedness and a mutual respect for the mystic energy that music creates. Through many passionate conversations about our world, the things we see, and the things that inspire us, we came up with the name Small World Records to encapsulate the intimacy of creativity and the way in which music can transcend time, space, and distance, building communities, big and small, that have the power to change the world. This song is a marker in time and a reminder that there’s always more, there’s always a bigger life a bigger house a bigger car, and we’re always on the run to get bigger faster and stronger, but sometimes it’s important amongst all the chaos to remember that the things around you don’t define your worth and that feeling loved is not something that should come wtih one sided conditions and rather something that is an equal exchange. 🌎SMALL WORLDS🌍 Album art shot by @shootingbysal, edited by @xanderpages by @smallworldindustry
