As yesterday was my 26th birthday, I thought I might do a post highlighting a few of the birthday cakes I’ve made in the post! It’s always so nice to be entrusted to make the cake for someone’s birthday. 💖

1-2.) July 2025: White chocolate raspberry cake with freeze-dried raspberry buttercream
3-4.) October 2025: Gluten-free red velvet cake with dark chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting
5-6.) July 2025: Strawberry cake with freeze-dried strawberry buttercream

First throwback bakes post, focusing on one of my absolute favorite flavor combos: chocolate + orange! 🍊🍫

1.) Christmas 2022: Chocolate orange cheesecake, topped with dark chocolate ganache and candied orange slices
2.) Friends Secret Santa 2025: Thick bakery-style chocolate chunk cookies with orange zest incorporated into the dough and topped with a slice of chocolate orange candy after baking
3.) Christmas Day 2025: Macarons with orange dyed shells and, for the filling, a ganache made with dark chocolate, orange blossom honey, Grand Marnier, orange-infused cream, and orange marmalade by @smambakes
