Had SUCH a blast going down to Orlando/Clermont and delivering this SmartAss Products Fuel Mule to 4X WakeSurfing Champ @seansilveira and current Wakesurf champ @jettshreds (Jett Lambert)!!!

Was so sick to get out and totally fail at surfing with them while they shredded it up. Hey... we’ll get better ;).

Welding with lasers is freaking cool!

Smart Ass Products just got a new toy.... I mean tool. Yeah. Tool. That's what it is. A tool.

Here's my first attempt filet welding two pieces of 2mm stainless. Not bad at all. I put it in my vice and beat it with a hammer and could not break it. I twisted it all up trying. The weld penetration is good.

Now to do something useful with it!

And maybe something stoopid.

Alright y'all, so this video might be a little tough to watch. It's been making the rounds a bit already so you might have seen it. But here's the deal. I know this guy and have for a few years now. This was in my cove on Lake Lanier, and well, I was the blue/white Supra Boats SA400 that picked him up and took him to shore where the EMTs had been called. Then went back and picked up his wrecked Jetski to drag back to shore so his crew could get it loaded up. It was absolutely crazy.

I am SO THANKFUL TO GOD ALONE
for saving this mans life that day. OK, I'm also thankful for his friends being right there to immediately assist him, calling EMTs, and flagging us down to come assist as well.

Dillan rides very well and is very experienced. He was using precautions with a PFD and a chase rider. He was not drinking. He's done that trick 1000 times. The one thing he couldn't account for was passing out unexpectedly from a unknown health issue. That's never happened before. Yes he's lucky to be alive. The way he somehow ended up threading that needle was nothing less that God alone.

Sometimes crap happens even to people that are taking precautions. I'm thankful his friends were there to help. We were nearby and they asked us to help pick him up on our boat and bring him across to shore where the EMTs were arriving. Dillan is a good guy. I'm so incredibly glad he's OK and praying he can get whatever happened that caused him to pass out figured out, pronto, so hopefully he can get back out there and we can throw him some more waves behind that Supra!!

EAA AirVenture Airshow 2026 was AWESOME! We've been so busy after the show I haven't had time to post yet, but I'll be posting a bit more on it as I have time.

Best show ever for us with 5X the sales we've EVER HAD AT ANY SHOW EVER.

We joined one of our resellers B&B Aircraft Supplies as their manufacturers rep and loved every minute of the brutality that is a 7 day long show in the beautiful (and hot) sunshine! (and the F22 and F35 were pretty freakin' cool!)

Here are a couple of our new customers we met there, with Stacey here who will be using it to fuel her @autogyrousa Gyroplane posing with a show unit and Bob mid-purchase at the booth (using it to fuel his generator for medical equipment in an emergency), her unit, along with 3 of the others sold there, are shipping out today.

They are going to absolutely LOVE their Smart Ass Fuel Mule™ Fuel Caddies!

And we will be contacting #eaa soon to join them again next year with our own booth in addition to B&B having them available there. We look forward to seeing all of you at EAA AirVenture 2027!!!
