🎃🚜 The Great Pumpkin Transport Challenge!

Today, our Smart Cookie STEM Discovery Lab kicked off Session 2: Farm & Food! 🌾🍎

Our young engineers were challenged to transport pumpkins from the farm to the store using simple materials like popsicle sticks, paper bowls, tape, and string!

Working in teams, our Smart Cookies explored engineering, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork as they designed, built, tested, and improved their pumpkin transport systems. 🛠️

Check out the food heroes we made and what food they bring to us!

We’re excited for a new season of hands-on learning as we discover how food travels from farm to table! #

🍪 Little hands. Big ideas. Smart Cookies!

Our @itschompshop Fall Pumpkin buckets! The kids used the saw, various cardboard, brads for moving parts and @crayola airbrush markers to make their own creations. Simply incredible to see young makers in action! 🤎🍪🎃🪚 #stem #stemforkids taken in Sahara West Library by @smartcookieclubs

8 weeks of pure imagination and hard work! 🎨 From crafting habitats and obstacle courses to building entire ocean worlds, our young creators took storytelling to another level. Intricate characters, genuine heart, and endings that left us on the edge of our seats. Beyond proud of this crew. Way to go Story Lab Smart Cookies! The students did a great job today! 🌊🪸

We learned about coral reefs and explored how pollution from different sources can affect the ocean and marine life. Students then put their math skills to work with a fun game where they had to “clean up” ocean pollution! 🧮🌊

We also learned about different types of coral and finished the day by creating our very own coral reef models using air-dry clay. 🎨🪸

Such a fun first day of Smart Cookie Club! 🍪 We can’t wait to see everyone again next week!

✨🌊 Week 7 of Smart Cookie STEM was ELECTRIC! ⚡🍪

Our Smart Cookies explored static electricity + bioluminescence through hands-on experiments! 🎈✨ We made plankton “dance” with static, watched our hair stand on end 😂, and created glowing sea creatures to investigate how light behaves under UV. 🔦🪼 by @smartcookieclubs
